It's not even close. The Dream constantly is writing for people. How many records for someone else has Drake written? His own albums have plenty of co writers as well. Not trying to knock Drake but one is a song writer and one isn't.

Song writing doesn't mean that you only have to write songs for yourself ..... You guys are quick to put folks in a box. I speak in an overall body of work as a song writer so that includes artist own songs as people have continuously posted in here.
As an OVERALL song writer which includes all bodies of work regardless of who it is for trust me it's very close .... Plus Drake has penned hits for other artist and the Dream has a lot of songs that are co-written as well
Plus we don't even know about their ghost writing careers and songs they never got credit for that's where it would become really interesting
Just because Drake has been a more successful artist doesn't mean that his pen game lacks .... Da kid been giving us the best hooks in the game which last time I checked was apart of song writing for a minute....

I would love to see a list of these songs that Drake wrote. He's also not ghost writing for others. Big named artists that make crazy money aren't ghost writing for anyone. Drake is one of the biggest pop stars, he's putting his name on everything and getting paid for it. But please, share a list of songs he's written.

Dawg there's no comparison between drake n dream songwriting wise. Dream wins by landslide, 4-0 sweep. Drake is the best at what he does but he not touching dream at his thing, this is what this man does, can pen a song and let joe schmo sing it and be a star.

Been a day one fan of the Dream. Wasn't feeling IV Play too much though, but Love/Hate, Love vs. Money, and Love King are personal favs. My only knock against him is that he cusses too much for no reason lol.
