bruh... cop breaks window and tazes man during a traffic stop

Add me to the naive list that thinks they weren't going to Rodney King son for his seatbelt.

Keep it 100% who in here flat out tells cops I'm not rolling my window down and I'm not getting out the car when being questioned. We all know nothing good is coming out of that.

Ps:I saw that worldstar video that shot at dude over a seatbelt stop.

why would you have to get out to get a ticket?

if they ever had intentions on handing out a ticket and letting him on his way they would've done so,

dudes wanted to **** with someone is all

Wanna bet NYPD is worse? You haven't experienced verbal/physical brutality until you lived in BX. Some Spanish dude got his ***** beat for sitting on steps and asking "What'd I do?"

I've been to the BX, the cops are warranted in the way they treat people there....and it still doesn't have kids acting civil. Kids beating up old ladies on buses, drugs dealing, murder

I'll take my chances with police.

Because Americans value dogs more than actual humans. #FACT.

Value dogs more than BLACKS*

And it's white Americans ....let's keep it real...

Take their history as a whole and compare it to the middle easterns they love to shame....pot meets kettle
Explain?

I don't know where you all live where it's common place to go through a traffic stop with a barely cracked window. What does cracking a window accomplish honestly besides pissing people off? That windows not going to save you from nothing.

common or not it's your right,

and you shouldn't have to worry about being saved from the people paid to do the saving.

Ok but going back and forth with a hothead officer will solve what exactly?

Absolutely nothing, at the end of the day an officer can abuse your civil rights as he sees fit and nothing will happen to you, they'll arrest you, tase you, bring you in and waste your whole day, then release you since they can't chatge you and on top of that fine you and guess what?...you'll have to pay that fine...is a losing battle....just take your L as a civilian...is not worth it

If me losing my pride and respect temporarily can save from an additional ticket(s), a possible resisting arrest charge or worse then I will take that L
I believe if he got out the car he would've gotten his ticket. Again maybe im just naive

I believe so too...dude was on a major power trip and was being tested which led to the lack of **** given for the safety of anyone specially the kids, as a father he shouldn't have tested the officer for the protection of his kids, before anyone flames me I'm not blaming the father, he was exercising what he thought were his rights and didn't do anything to warrant such aggression, but what exactly did he gain?...a broken window, getting electrocuted and traumatizing his kids, his pride is probably crushed now more than ever too and their whole day ruined....nothing will happen to the cop, as they are not even suing the officer individually but the police dept as a whole....just get out, comply and be lucky to get away with a ticket, civilians vs police, not a very favorable fight for civilians

and you shouldn't have to worry about being saved from the people paid to do the saving.

But current events should be clear that we need to protect ourselves and not expect the police force to do so, because often times they are on the aggressive....adapt to survive bro...adapt.

As a youngin growing up in the Bronx me and my boys have had our share of harassment and getting disrespected...back some years ago I would try and argue back, nowadays I get pulled over, greet the officer, stroke his ego by being 100% complient and haven't gotten a written ticket in about 4 years, just warnings...maybe I just been getting lucky, or maybe my approach with them has helped in them not profiling me as a troll trying to test them....whatever it may be, I'm not paying fines, getting tased, arrested or whatever over NOTHING....as opposed to when I was growing up I'd get pulled over and immediately be on the defensive with the officer, I was getting tickets every other week...If they stop you and wanna ticket you, they'll find a reason bruhs...no need to make it easier.

That's what it comes down to. I've gotten locked up and don't care for police myself but I'm not in a hurry to die. I want to see my kids grow up, not die over some rights we never really had in the first place. Dudes really believe that land of the free, justice for all BS it's not like that.

I get the picking your battles talk.

It's easy to say, argue, stand up for yourself, and not let them walk over you behind a computer screen.

But when your with your wife and kids and you know what those animals are capable of, sometimes you need to assess the situation off the strength of your wife and kids.

You know cops killing black men for trivial reasons and hiding behind fear is something that happens way too much, you know these cops are willing to overreact and use unnecessary force at any perceived sign of disrespect.

What good comes out of being a vegetable or dead when you got a child to raise? Your wife and kid might ultimately get some settlement $ and the cop gets a paid suspension but the damage is already done.

The positive of this situation is that it was on camera and has the platform to raise awareness and outrage, but its tons of similar incidents that go unfilmed and completely swept under the rug.

In that since, I think you need to consider the picking your battle aspect when you got a child to live for.

and this is why they get away with what they do

instead of demanding justice and to be treated as men soo many of us are willing to get down on their knees for massa

Bruh how naive are you to think anything will change?...the only way it'll change is by waiting out till this generation of officers get older and retire and making the recruitment process of new officers much harder and selective, specially the psych part....some of these dudes exhibit legit sociopathic characteristics that should have raised a red flag during the recruitment process....for the time being us demanding justice won't get us anything, but a beatdown, time wasted, money wasted, property damage, destroying our pride and in worst case scenario getting filled with bullets or choked to death....all because you wanted to excercise some false sense of civil rights  worth it?...I think not.

NT full of online activists....dudes are outraged by the injustice and pass judgement on those who think is not worth the risk to fight against the police, yet I'm sure they won't put their lives on the line if ever faced with a situation where is them vs a cop.

uhhh..no they do not have their hand on the gun, ive been pulled over many times and never seen them walk up with their hands on the gun. now if they're pulling u over cuz ur wanted or their is some sort of weapons/assault involved in a crime committed then yes.

and cooperating with them is to do as required by law. if they have a valid reason to stop u, then u have to provide id, u don't need to roll your window down all the way.

and it should be common sense for the cop to mention to you about reaching for the id, cuz we are required by law to comply with them in that instance, not to question it.
Read what I said... Ready to draw is different than having their hand directly on the gun. It's a fact that cops walk up to your car with their hand on their belt, prepared to draw.

Again, read what I said... I know you're within your rights to not roll the window down all the way, etc. but why bother? You're just causing unnecessary tension by doing that. Just comply within reason, get the **** over with ASAP and go on about your day.

Notice how situations like this almost always occur when the person being stopped cops an attitude and/or wants to "prove their rights." I'm not justifying what some of these cops do at all, but you gotta use some common sense and know when to pick your battles.

Some of us just aren't about that life, bruh.

if he had ID...then he could sit in the car with a cracked window...

if you can't produce identification they can legally force you to exit the vehicle....as was done.
