The Official Adidas D Lillard 1

Try picturing them in some natural light cuz I can barely see anything lol
 
mi adidas pair got delivered today. The quality is impeccable compared to Nike's iD. No glue stains anywhere. Everything is aligned evenly. The included bag is great too.

I went really simple and basic. Will post a pic any ways when new set of laces come in.

How dare you post this without a pic? I saw your post say they got delivered and clicked expecting to see a picture. Boooo
 
If it let's you order then it's official. FTL had some stock of different colorways UA CFDs the past couple weeks. I was able to order and received it.

nice... gonna wait it out and see if the OG color way ends up in the outlets... this massive restock is a good sign
 
I have been going back and fourth about if I should give these a try. My current rotation is BrandBlack JC2 and curry One's....I bought the Rose 5 Boost but ordered slightly too big so there are the best to play ball in otherwise I think I would ad them to the rotation. How to these Lillard 1's compare to those three? Anybody have all three that can chime in?
 
I have 2 pairs of JC2, 4 Curry Ones(there will be more lol), 3 Lillards, and 1 Rose 5. When you get the right size in the Lillards they are appreciated more. They are the cheapest of the 4, but holds its own. These are not the best in heel lockdown, but other than that they are good for both on/off-court use. Bang for your buck shoe.

I don't have the Rose 5, but I got the other two. My thoughts:

Lillard 1 is lower to the ground and plays faster than the others. I just feel faster overall in the Lillard 1.

The other shoes are more comfortable long term than the Lillard, since the fit is tricky on the Lillard and they have to be tied tight. The techfit bootie is thin and can lead to discomfort over the top of the foot.

Traction in my experience is equal to or better than the others. Curry 1 needs to be wiped the most, Lillard and JC2 wiped less.

Impact protection is better in the JC2 and Curry 1. I've been playing with a Rose 3 insole in my Lillards, based on what someone else said I switched them and it's more cushy and also helps to fill out the shoe.


Based on what you're saying, I would only get them if I wanted to wear them casually as well. There is a strong chance you will have slippage issues and won't like them, so only get them if you plan to wear them off court as well.

Nice.  Kind of like a reverse All Star game.

You gonna ball in them or keep it casual?  I'd hate to see a pair that clean get scuffed up.

"multi" made me think of the multi colored nike flyknit route but then I realized they couldn't incorporate that many colors in this model because of the materials

HEADS UP, looks like ftl got a magical restock of the RIP city, All Star, Weber State, Rose City, and Made in March (Raiders only have 7.5 & 8.0 left).
Hope its not a mistake because I just placed an order. Kind of nervous since eastbay, champs, and footaction aren't showing any of the same stock. :\

looks like on top of the restock, they put the All Star, Weber State and RIP Cities on sale for 94.99
 
the only size NOT restocked is the one i need..... size 14

but thanks for the head ups P83... i'd be all over this if they had my size!!!!

that makes sense that these shoes are all coming from stores. i asked at a couple FTL & FNL stores and they told me they NEVER carry sizes above 13.
