Jordan Retro 1 High “Laser” aka Custom Lasers Thread

For $55 there is no way I would have high expectations for a quality custom job, and no way would it take him just a few hours. You can't rush these things and expect quality.
 
Has anyone seen fakes of the Laser 1's?  I've seen a couple pairs locally that people are offering for below retail.  Wanted this pair, but couldn't justify the $180 price tag.

You may be able to find pairs left at jimmy jazz for $109 so that isn't surprising. People in my groups still want $170 for them

I've seen them for sale from high quality fake China sellers

Not sure how they differ from authentics tho, sorry

If you have steady hands and practiced enough, I'm sure it's a walk in the park. I know after doing my first custom, I can do it much faster now.

I'm just a purist I suppose.  I've never even done an ID, despite being tempted several times.  Have a hard enough time wearing the pairs I have now to toss a custom into the mix that I'll forget I even have.

The one pair that almost made me say F it and do one is @AirThompson
's New Love 1's custom.  Best one I've seen to date.

Those customs are legendary, I have a pair of $80 DS Hawks/HRs in my closet waiting for me to start the job... I think this might be my summer project haha

Yea.. I got them in 63 so I'm going to have to wear them untied (which kinda shortens the sockliner's life) or super tight at the holes before the ones you have them at. I thought it was going to be long enough but nope. Going to look around. I'll let the thread know if I find one. Might not have the gold aglets but you can just buy the manual gold yeezy ones on ebay.

do they do phone orders by any chance? no city gear here in Jersey, or the tristate area for that matter
 
For anyone who still wants to cop and can't find anything under retail, footlocker has 20% off today only. $150 isn't bad.

EDIT: sizes 12, 12.5, 13, 17 left.
