Could this be the next medical marijuana?

I'm watching the Lisa Ling film on it right now. Pretty crazy, they're all taking a shot of this and throwing up, knocking out while this shawmens doing this ritual dance. And she over here in the middle of it just chillin like wtf am I doing here.

This could be a big boon the natives of South America...aint it funny how white people used to out right mock and **** on native traditions and now literally itch up under them for the latest "wonder drug" or "superfood"?

I remember the movie Route 666 having a scene with the main dude trying this, and that's what was going on during that scene.

Why would this be correlated to medical marijuana?

Its quite a bit different in various aspects. The only correlation being that it has some medical benefits. Though they don't appear to be as wide spanning as marijuana's.

I still have some whole B. caapi from years ago when I was planning to make it myself but later decided against it.

.

It's just gross the way people hop on and off stuff at a whim

In what world does going to South America to try a drug sound like a good idea though.

I mean in what world does using for a man made drug that has a million potentially fatal side effects & causes addiction sound like a good idea.........

Was thinking about this last night.

Those commercials for drugs on TV are just a list of side effects set to pretty imagery.

At least I'm told of the risk before I pop one in my mouth.

I'm not going to go to a foreign country, to ingest and substance that has little research been it. So I can throw up, crap my pants, have a weird dude dance over me and while I hallucinate. :rolleyes

not saying your wrong about what drugs you may want to take... but i find taking a pill used for mild depression, that may give you a heart attack, stroke, kidney problems, addiction to said pill and a myriad of other LONG term problems..... just as crazy as this drug.

not to mention that the FDA is suppose to "examine" things all the time and somehow someway they get passed only to completely **** up lives for some years only for the FDA to then come in and say "Oh maybe these weren't good for the public" and retract.

n the list of side effects is the longest part of the commercial... "you wanna have a stiffy thats cool pop 2 of these but your butt MAY bleed for no reason & you MIGHT poop yourself without knowing"
