hey guys i just wanted to share my all red futures. definitely not my idea but I saw it in the Jordan future thread so I went ahead and attempted it myself. props to the original poster though. im probably going to redo it but this time im gonna use angelus red dye. im just waiting for it to come in. i'll probably youtube it this time around. it'll be my first time time as well. wish me luck..lol
on to the shoes...
I didn't really prep per se. I just cleaned them with magic eraser and alcohol because I wore
them a few times just to break in the phylon before painting. I wanted any creases that were going to occur to occur so I could fill in those gaps with the paint. (sorry if that doesn't make sense..lol. )
so as far as paint I used apple red multi surface paint from michaels. * I used apple red since I figured it would just get darker with more coats*
I only did 3 coats. I let each coat it for an hour.
I didn't put a finisher on it yet being that I wanted to try dying it.
*btw as of now no cracking, paint is holding up but I work a desk job so we'll see..lol**
