If you're teetering between tax brackets, sell off any investments for a loss.

Hold off selling stocks after a year of holding them to be taxed less.

I don't think the deal will go through since it'll be left up to shareholders votes and the reaction to it yesterday and today. Might not be a terrible idea to jump in now/short SCTY

I agree for now, this isn't anything to panic over in America. However, this does signal the slow death of the Euro (which has been on the brink of dying for a while now).

Is it becuae the EU was their biggest trading partner? So now that they no longer are..ppl got freaked out and dumped their shares?
