OFFICIAL STOCK MARKET AND ECONOMY THREAD VOL. A NEW CHAPTER

^Understood

I know I want to get into the game... I just really don't know where to start.

I am just going to be patient and continue to do research.

With all of the information out there, what would the best place to learn for the absolute beginner?

Thanks for the help

Not sure there's a "best" place, but just read all of the Investing 101 articles.

any tax advice ? i have 2 brokerage accounts now

If you're teetering between tax brackets, sell off any investments for a loss.

Hold off selling stocks after a year of holding them to be taxed less.

Brexit is not bad news.

This only causes dislocations in the market. It's time to flourish, NT fam.

^^ Fundamentals still look solid. Dig deeper into resilient companies.

I've posted a few potential long ideas in here (CF, HQY, ULTA, etc.).

Damn. Knew I shoulda jumped on gold earlier this year but was hoping for it to get under 1000. Doesn't look like that's happening soon.

If I have some solid liquid capita how can I flourish off this?

UVXY had a solid jump.

If you're asking, just sit on your hands.

I agree for now, this isn't anything to panic over in America. However, this does signal the slow death of the Euro (which has been on the brink of dying for a while now).
