Despite the glossiness of the 2011 sole sucking, it looks closer to the OGs than this black sole. OGs did not have a black sole.

the 2015 pair is not black. It's a very dark grey but in pics its visible that the peaks are black and the rest of the midsole is lighter.

OGs are a tad bit lighter but not as light as the 2011 pair

JB has proven that even "remastered" shoes have small differences than the OG. I think them darkening the midosle is a much smaller difference than the 2011 pair's light grey midsole

I really do hope we get some more solid 7 releases. JB needs to redeem the the second half of the year for this abysmal first half.

I would very much like to get most of these 7's back. Would prefer new retro's, past releases are too overprice for me to get most of these back.

This was a few years ago before I went on a hiatus and sold a good portion of my sneakers. 7's are by far my favorite JB model, I need some redemption for this first half of the year lol
12's follow in my favs, and next year is looking good with the french blue's and white/red's..now I ask for black/red's and I'll be very happy.

I will say, I'm very excited for these Bordeaux's. I'm liking these more than the 2011 pair I had.

Those last set of pics really showed how good the silhouette of the OG was. The tip/toe are sleeke, while the retros are bulkier. I think im about 80% copping these, definitely depending on the wallet during release day lol

I think the grey of the 2011's look closer to the grey of the OG's than the off-black of the 2015's. I'll likely try to grab them anyways, as they are one of my favourite shoes off all time, but there is no denying the sole is ****** up again, and in my opinion maybe worse than last time. Will have to see them in person.
