I think that once the shoe breaks in the grey will lighten up a bit as the gloss wears off.

I just ain't impressed with these. No matter how I try to trick myself into liking them. They tried to make the shape more like the OG but I think they overdid it and it looks like a variant now. The '11 doesn't look like a kids shoe like these do

pretty sure that is a correction. This shoe is the closest retro we've seen to the OG as far as shape. It's nothing to worry about. The 2011 had a very weird shape
