Cool, yea I copped the hares on release day and have yet to wear them, it's not that I regret buying them it's just I'm not really interested in wearing them, and I know I'd get more use out of bordeauxs. I make it a thing to only have one colorway of each model

What makes you think that, just for the fact you see the cut leather lineing edge? Might be Durabuck but not OG '92 Durabuck. Back when these released in '92 these bords did not have the same material as the Charcoal playoff's. The grey was smoother than the black material, the charcoals were all 1 material.

the Charcoals were not all 1 material.
Just like the 2002s they featured a Durabuck upper with a smooth Nubuck on the toe and side panels that has since faded over time.every 7 OG had two diff materials on the upper to show contrast

Only those crap 2012 Charcoals had one material on the upper.

I love this colorway, but no pics i seen make em look good. I got the 2011 vnds in my closet. Marvin the Martians look straight, wish the yhad durabuck. Its gonna be an tough decision, but i might pass. Really trying to diversify my stuff now. Smoking pics of the og Charcoals though.

I understand there are a lot of sneaker people who live and die by materials and buy them anyway.

But when you guys pull up comparison pictures on a 20 year old pair and a pair you don't have in hand, do you think they'd ever look alike in any instance?
 
True dat, true dat. I was thinking back to '92 without looking at pics on Google, but ya your right I didn't own A pair of OG Charcoals back in '92or the Cardinals but had the Bordeaux, Hare's, and Olympics. Wow I'm glad I brought up what I brought up for the fact of these OG posted Charcoal pics. I like that sz 10 looks so Classy.

it's hard to find pics of OGs during their time but they're out there. Catalog pics like the one I posted above show that 20 year old pairs don't look too diff. But as far as the 2015 Bords they look they have solid materials regardless off what they had before. They look spot on

The black is durabuck. You can look at it and tell. The white outline is a dead giveaway.
