And besides the material on the 2011 was nubuck just a higher hair used to get that swiping effect with your fingers. Doesn't mean that quality is better man

Well said. Quality doesn't mean what most people think it means.

Inspect a shoe with your hands, wear it for a few months and see how it holds up. That will indicate level of craftsmanship and materials. Videos don't tell you anything.

well seems like me and a lot of other people prefer the longer haired nubuck. and damn near every comparison ive seen gives it to the 2011 pair.
 
Is it safe to say once these retro again in another 5 years everyone will be looking for the 2015 retro because they will be so much better? The 2011s were okay. They were only good for causal use (at best) because the materials were thin, specifically around the ankle area. Time will tell on the 2015s. The videos of the 2015s tell me nothing because they point out obvious differences like the darker midsole and Nike air on the insole.

What other use would they be getting? 
 
I've never seen so many dudes selling themselves a dream.  If your going to cop then cop, but stop with the comparisons because it doesn't matter which pair you compare the 2015s to they aren't better than either the 2011 or OG.

The thing is they don't have to be better than the OG or 2011 retro for people to like them.  There's no justification necessary, the comparisons are starting to get ridiculous.

i get what youre saying but the comparisons are important if your trying to decide which version to pick up. Im going with the 2011 pair

thats what im getting at. you said they were good for casual use at best as if people would consider these good kicks to ball in or something.

I didn't think the 2011s were good shoes to play in only because of the lack of ankle support. Can't say on the 2015s yet. I know the French blue VII's and hares both had good builds to them and good construction so I would be more apt to play with either of those and / or use them during workouts and such.

It's been that way for months. It's really annoying. It's across all topics. It's just a bunch of dudes complaining about stuff they can control. If you don't like, don't buy. If you like 2011's, go buy 2011's.

Comparisons are legit and for the most part we've had them but some still want to find something to nitpick in the older pairs to somehow make themselves feel about better about how the 2015s turned out.  Your also in the minority, few are going to ignore these and grab 2011s but most people are going to scoff at paying resale when they can grab 2015s for retail.

Yea not sure if its pride and having an ego on both sides

You dont have to justify why you are passing and for the other side you dont have to always defend your purchase when someone says these suck.

We all dont share the same mind
 
I have the 2011 but still copping these tomorrow. Can't go wrong with having two pairs of Bordeaux 7s. The 2011 quality was decent but not great. I remember people here in NT being mad about the craftmanship of the shoes. A lot pairs with glue stains and paint bleeding into the suede. Fast forward four years and some people now prefer the 2011. Typical NT behavior in this thread. Happens every time the same colorway is released. To be fair the majority of the time the previous release is better.

I entered ZERO raffles went to no malls to inquire bout these and I work tomorrow.. My plug will have 4 pairs for me tomorrow tho.. One for me, my girl, and both my kids... Good luck to all tryin to cop and these should be obtained with very minimal effort.

That extra "puff" at the top of the toe box does look weird. It's almost as if the machine sewing it was slightly off-calibrated to make that error. To me it looks like it was sewn before they material was laid out flat.

The grand majority of them look like that so it isn't a sewing error. That's the shape JB chose to go with for this release. After they sellout Saturday I'm sure nobody will care.
 
I picked up my pair last night. They're definitely overpriced and I'm not impressed with the "remastered" results. That said, they're retail and it beats paying resell on a 2011 pair
