BORDEAUX 7S JULY 18th 2015

Imma try for the Aqua 8s & Chrome 8s.

Im on the fence about the Laney 14 lows and the 11lab4 blues.

I'm DEF NOT gonna go after the 72-10 11s.

For a large company like FNL that ships hundreds of packages a week, they're making money off that $10 charge. I remember checking how much UPS charged to ship a shoe using my company's account (we ship A LOT daily) and it was sickening. Like $4-5 using ground. That same package cost me $18 using my personal ups account.

And footlocker doesn't?

You are giving finishline an excuse to charge stuff just because you get a 20 dollar reward every 200 spent?

Come on now

Tax and shipping for me comes up to 26 bucks

So that doesnt even cover that

Might as well not even call it winners circle reward. Just call it tax and shipping almost free IF you spend 200 bucks. And most jordans do not even make the 200 treshold. Finishline doesnt include tax and shipping in the amount you have to make

Nevermind the fact that if a retro jordan doesnt sell well they offer free shipping after a few days

They have done it for the 2's, the infrared vi lows, the laser 1's, and every other retro jordan that didnt sell well.

So they really dont have to charge ten bucks for shipping

With that way of thinking lets not stop at shipping. Lets go ahead and jack up the price too. But we should be grateful they havent yet right? But if they do hey we get a 20 dollar reward to use on the next purchase anyways

i dont think so, i just think that 7s arent as popular at the moment as other retros particularly this color way. same goes for the 8s.
You might be rt there brutha.... Bordeaux sat in 2011 also I was able to get 3 pair back then still have one DS pair from then...

THIS.
In 2011 I hoarded the Bordeauxs.
That was back when I still bought most of my Retros in-store.
I hit all 3 spots in that mall that morning and Not one other person had even asked about them.
I grabbed enough pairs that I didn't think twice about this 2015 drop.

It's not like these are flying off shelves people. Let's be real these still can be bought in stores, no need in complaining about s&h when you can save yourself the extra fee and buy them in store. These did NOT sell out.

And footlocker doesn't?

FTL family needs to offer free ship too. I'm just saying it doesn't eat to their bottom line as much as they think. I just rather not give FNL my business since they turn a blind eye to their horrid payment processing system.

And you don't have to pay shipping on footlocker, Footaction, and champs? The "free" shipping they provide for non hot releases is snail mail. Footlocker gives rewards than "might" be able to be used in store and definitely not online.

Eastbay charges you a up front fee for "free" shipping for a year and it's a crap shoot to get through that site on release date.

At the end of the day, I'm paying around 190 shipped from FNL vs 212 plus shipping from footlocker and fam.

I'm not saying FNL is a good company, but what a bunch of silly complaining, especially about covering taxes LOL

NDC doesn't give you any discounts. I can spend my money there and get free shipping but with every Jordan release I get $20 off the next one, which means it's $11 off retail and shipping covered. You have to deal with their terrible website, horrible customer service, etc. but I don't see what the point is complaining about $10 off every Jordan release after your first purchase.

Someone finally hit the nail on the head when comparing the 2011 to the 2015.

Most of the comments I read must be from people new to the game. The 2015 almost matches the 92 version exactly with the toe box shape and holes not all punched through.

I think people are just used to the 2011 so they compare his year's model to the 2011 pair.

Personally I like the materials of the 2011 better but it doesn't matter. They look pretty similar and this year's is closer to OG.

The toe box is supposed to be that way as are perforations.

It's easy. If you don't like how FNL does their business, don't shop with them. I'm not shopping with them for other reasons though

It's a battle that can't be won! Same goes for those who complain about JB quality, pricing, etc. Yet they keep coming back for more.

It's honestly picking your poison at the end of the day. Not one company is perfect so we just deal with what works best for each of us.

It's unfortunate that we have to pick "closer to OG design" vs "better quality"

"Remastered" retros were supposed to address these issues, I thought.

Well there was a time where JB was consistent with the quality of their retros... Nowadays, it's a crapshoot from one model (or even cw) to another.

I'm 99% sure we would all pay higher retail if we could get consistent quality releases. Of course, this would mean we would probably buy less shoes in the long run as they would naturally last longer (I'm guessing JB doesn't want this to happen either).

I'm actually at the ceiling of what I'd consider paying to be honest. I do deviate from the plan from time to time but that's just because I have issues.

I don't think you have to pick between either or. The 2015 is based off of the OG and it mimics it to me. Quality really isn't bad and I have no complaints with the ones Ive seen.

Well put. To bad FNL fixed the free shipping glitch last year. That combined with the $20 off complaint was great.
