Jordan 5 Retro Midnight Navy/Turquoise Blue - White 136027-405 (5/2/2015 $190)

I've been on board with these before those pictures and that just made it even better. These will be a delayed birthday gift to myself.

My guess is that they'll sit online and in stores over the weekend.

By Monday or Tuesday every size will be gone.

Well it's not only a matter of people wanting or not wanting them, a lot of sneakers are releasing in May as well. We have the hare 7's, bred 11 lows, and Chicago 1's all releasing a week apart from each other so most people will be saving up and going after those.
 
In those pics the material looks to be the same as the Teal 4s and B.o B's... IMO that isnt a bad thing at all
 
It's a nice shade of blue.

I may try for these to have other color options other than the usual Black/Red/White based cw's.

I wish that meant something. Too many times I've struck out on a slow thread shoe. Hopefully these are my first pickup for the yr
 
I absolutely love the 5s, they have the solidity and sturdiness of a Big Man's shoe, and the design works all night for me.

The Deep Navy means I can wear them without worrying too much about getting dirty, and I like the flourish of Tourqoise.

Definitely going to try and cop a guaranteed ticket tomorrow AM so I can end the worry about getting them.

because hypebeasts aren't on niketalk a lot lol. there's a lot more hypebeast buying shoes than sneakerheads 
 
Does anyone else think in a few years we will be looking at the midnight navy 5s like we do the olives and burgundys now?? I just get that feeling for some reason. Just something about the colorway.

I certainly think there are other color ways they could've done that would've been much better. Take for instance the Quai 54. When have we ever had a colored outsole? That green one on the Q54 was nice. In fact that whole shoe was a great color way. You don't see Nike ever putting much bright green on these shoes. Never have we seen one with Volt. There have been some test 5s that were navy but with grey and white. Those were awesome. To me the navy and turquoise is just ok. Definitely something that has to grow on me and 5s are my favorite model. That space jam one though is hideous. There are some nice things about it like the black netting that have never been done before but it has too much going on.
