Can I ask NT for some prayers

For those that wanted to know. My uncle is still in stable but critical condition. He opened his eyes when we called out to him the other day which is good. He got a metal shaft placed in his right leg. But they wanna do head surgery to place a tube to drain blood and clots from his brain so that it doesn't interrupt blood flow up there.

Everyday i've been praying for the best but preparing myself for the worst. I just gotta let go and let god do his thing.

I again appreciate all the prayers. Ya'll really coming through.

Multiple people have mentioned to me that for his age he should have passed away already :smile:{) but it's because he was a hard worker and ate the right way that he's still going strong. Also his love of life. Very chill dude that likes to have fun.

Just gotta keep praying and being optimistic.
 
Wow 79? Man it's a blessing his condition is even improving. I've seen men that age have a slight fall in their driveway and end up dying days later in the hospital. He's a strong man and I'll send another one up for your uncle
 
Keep your head up bro. Like Mr Marcus said, at that age and falling at that height, it'd prolly kill most people.
 
Hold your head high bro. Stay strong for him, hope things will pull through for the fam. I've been in your position and know how it feels..you just gotta be positive my dood.

Any progress is good to hear even if it's not as quick as we want it to be. Keep your head up, man. I'm sure he's still got some fight in him, just gotta stay positive.
 
Heavenly Father,

Please be with Grimlock's Uncle, and I ask you to comfort him and his family during this trying time. If it is Your will Lord, help him to make a full and speedy recovery. Help his uncle and their family to trust You implicitly through this tragedy, and through this experience help strengthen their faith in You. May this experience bring them closer to You, so that they may learn to lean on you during times of trouble, and also during times of triumph. Lord, we do not always understand why bad things happen to Your children, but we do know that You know what is best for us, and that You ultimately have a plan for us which You will one day reveal. May Your will be done Lord, and I thank you for listening and also answering our prayer.

I don't know how to feel about this. My uncle's (ex) wife put a restricted visitation on him. Here's the thing. When people leave Guyana (where my uncle is from) and come to the states, they sometimes just separate from their spouses. BUT they never go through with getting a legal divorce.

This ***** comes outta no where and puts a stop to visitation to everyone else. I feel that her and her daughter (my cousin) are doing this just to be *******.

Can't believe that ****.

Haven't seen him in a couple days because of this.

But, we called the hospital today and they're thinking of taking my uncle off the respirator tomorrow and letting him breathe on his own. He's opening his eyes and is able to squeeze the doctors hand when asked.

I'm thankful. This is a great sign to me.

Something is working brah's.

if he ain't with her anymore then he needs to get that fixed....folks see $$$$ when people get sick and don't keep their best interest at heart (not saying she's not)

Hey ya'll.

I'm gonna stop updating this thread soon. But I felt that people been showing me love and I'm glad to announce that my Uncle has been opening his eyes and is following commands. I just got down to Florida to visit my dad because he's going through a hard time but my mom called me and she said that my uncle is steadily getting better.

What can I say but thanks to you all and the lurkers of this thread who sent some energy his way. Can't explain it but maybe it was meant for us not to understand just yet.

I'm dumbfounded. 79 years old. fell 9 feet onto a ladder which fell into cement ground.

Broke right ribs, broke right femur, lacerated right thumb, lacerated liver and kidney, bleeding in brain, slight pneumonia while in hospital.

Damn brah's. Nothing short of a miracle.

Love people. Eat right. Enjoy your life.
