wut I have no problem with anyone rapping white black etc. But her made up black southern accent is offensive her speaking voice doesn't even remotely sound like that it's not even opinion it's fact ..no where in my statement did I say I was mad she's winning

can someone answer me this, why is it ok for Banks to diss these white rappers and they can't say anything back? she's making everything a race issue, that's not gonna help her situation at all.

I remember hearing this iggy chick back in 11-12 on hip hop nation and was surprised as **** she was Australian. She's close minded for what she speaks. You are what you say. That's why you gotta think b4 you speak. Same goes for people on this board.

Azelia need not worry about Iggy or any other white musician. To say that they are not real or authentic Hip-Hop is discrediting their work. Iggy is talented but that voice and her rhymes are very often weak. Macklemore be spittin' heavy! He jus' felt like his music wouldn't be heard, if he didn't go the pop/gay rights route. However, they are both Hip-Hop artists in my eyes. Hip-Hop is essentially quote on quote "Black Music", but why can't it be now labeled as a worldly music? People from all walks of life listen and participate in the genre. It's such a beautiful thing. I'd honestly like to sit down with Azelia and engage in conversation.

Who writes her lyrics? :nerd: Also Iggy's specific talent is her song making ability. You cannot refute that; you may not like the actual songs, but she knows about song structure and she to bring the feature artist on the hook.

Hip-Hop is about owning up and not crying about beefs? I thought Hip-Hop was about getting on wax and settling differences over vocals and beats. Not fists, gats or a keyboard. Violence is never a good thing.

I've been saying this. Banks is the lamest broad ever. Nobody owes her anything. She's a clown and is only known for trying to argue with everyone and sounds like a 12 year old when she does.

Used to be in hip-hop, that you had to be yourself in order to not only make it but stand out in the genre, and if you didn't you were considered either wack and/or a biter and you were disregarded. Nowadays, hip hop is full of caricatures, people too afraid to be themselves in order to gain popularity and a fast buck...the game has changed a whole lot since at least the 90's..
