18 year old shot by Police in Berkley missouri.

Just had a thought.. And please correct me if I'm bugging.

There are several white people quick to say "uhhh.. Black people always make it about race.. Yadda yadda"

But I had a thought when talking to a coworker:

How many black people do you all hear this from? Or are tiu quick to just assume?

Any white person that brings up al sharpton or Jesse Jackson automatically tells me they don't fraternize with many black people because many black people dont look to them for answers...

So I was doing some math...

200M white people, 50M black people...

Remove the poor culture because classes tend to not mix, especially across racial lines... And often times they're not the most educated

200M x (1-.09) = 182M white people
50M x (1-.27) = 37M black people...

Remove 10% of people who are super old and super young

164M white people
33M black people...

So for every 1 black person... There's 5 white people...

So is this 1 black person running around and screaming "its all about race" to 5 white people?

And that's excluding the fact that black people tend to fraternize and hang amongts each other, as any race does...

So even if each black person went and argued with two white people and screamed from the heavens it was about race...

There'd still be 100M white people who haven't even interacted with a black person, let alone got their idea on race...

...

White ppl say Blacks make it about race when this entire system was built on the very foundation.

^ using NT as an example:

you're right in that some people have the misconception that black people always make it about race

the problem when people think that way is that "black people _____" makes it seem like all black people think this way

when really it should be "these few black people always make it about race"

for example, there are a few members of NT that im assuming are black that make everything about race

people get annoyed at these guys turning a whats your favorite ice cream flavor thread into a race issue and think wow black people think everything is about race

when really its just the few guys saying this stuff while 90% of the other black members on NT DONT make everything about race. but of course people dont notice that because they're not posting

so really its just an issue of conformation bias and the guys who turn every single topic into an example of why black people are oppressed in america only end up harming the average perception of blacks

same with how the mainstream media will be like african americans are angry at _____ and throw 3 tweets on screen as evidence to prove their point.

More often than not, the people saying al sharpton the and jesse jackson that, are just regurgitating things they've heard other people say. Seems like there's just one central hub where white people get all of their "information" about black people.

also you dont need to interact face to face for people to understand someone else's views

for example a single black person arguing with a single white person in this thread that has 13k total views

thats a lot of people that now have a better idea of both people's views on race

I've had some pretty bad arguments with Mr Marcus on here, but I still like him better than this WhatCanISay kid

Lion let it go he is to much of a lame to keep arguing with. Dude is a cornball little punk racist like you see those little clowns in the video with the guy spitting in his face. Those guys were the clowns getting beat up all the time in school, no girls, no money, no hand skills just frail bitter lames. You exposed him already **** him.

At least most people hate white black or purple racists but he's a ***** just like a kkk ***** he's a black racist *****.
calm down bro

man calling people racist and pointing fingers doesn't solve anything. i wish we could have legit conversations with our emotions in check. but i understand this is a very sensitive topic and unfortunately some people's views rile people up. idk if marcus is racist and i really don't care. he's obviously someone that's angry with the way things have gone and that's fair. guys like whatcanisay posting passive aggressive/subtle racist stuff is really lame and does little to add value to this discussion. let's just try and focus on the topic at hand instead of flipping out at each other and questioning roots and what not.

The topic at hand isn't going anywhere though. The surveillance footage is out there. The SWS in this thread see that he pointed his gun at the cops.

Everyone else thinks the officer shoukd have tased him, or the video footage is too blurry to be conclusive, or the gun was planted.

Just like helium these topics made me forget about the other stuff...you're a logical dude so you're good with me :pimp:

Looks like dude pulled a phone, not a gun. You can see the light from it on the ground. And his homeboy doesn't react till the cop pulls his ****.
