LOL why is this company still allowed to do business. I ordered the pink ones on release when their date was expected to ship the next day. I asked why EB has not shipped any shoes out yet today when they are already for sale on NDC:
Eastbay: Yes, the original backorder date was 7/10, but now the updated re stock date is 8/14 per the manufacturer. Which is why we do not guarantee backorder dates as they often do change.
Eastbay: That is correct, we do not guarantee 8/14 as the backorder date as it could change.
Me: So pretty much your answer is: You will get them when you get them
Eastbay: To answer your question, that is correct, and you are welcome to contact us back on or before 8/14 if you would like for an update.
I guess some of us are not getting our shoes for awhile....

Seems like a lot of people are having issues with EB...I've used them for the Amps and got em in a 3 days. Hopefully you get em before the 2's come out

I have a torn meniscus in my left knee, so my workouts are pretty limited right now as I heal. I wore my banned metcons to the gym this morning and I was amazed how many people wanted to see them. Normally I just chat with my trainer about them, but there were 5-6 people that knew about them that wanted to check them out that have never once said or asked me about the metcons.

Eastbay has been good on other metcons for me, but the banned, bought them within seconds of launch and still backordered. LF still backordered to november.

This is why I boycott EastBay and its inbred cousins FTL and Champs. That conglomeration has cost me more time and tied up funds than I care to remember. Screw em. Crappy customer service and terrible stock allocation.

According to the Nike rep I spoke to yesterday, the total orange were a project executed by Nike Europe and they have no plans on releasing them in the US.
And for NikeID they're going to be doing something similar to what Reebok did with the 2s and 3s where you can customize both the metcon 1 and metcon 2 with NikeID. He also said, the metcon 1 and 2 are not that much different, but that the 3 that they're working on is going to look completely different.

Does anyone know what Nike's timeline on product development / production / release date was like for the Banned's?
It seems like it could have been a rather quick process, or I am thinking Nike may have known that their shoes wouldn't be allowed in the games, and they were able to think these up ahead of time.

On the banned tag should be a production date which may give you some insight. Mine arrive today and I'll take a look but I'm sure someone else could post the details earlier than me.
