Please Lock.

I can see tying up GGG be Ward's game plan. GGG just showed that he could use his jab to maintain distance and setup the power shots. And lets not forget his body shots that did Lemieux in.

Guys normally let themselves get tied up by getting over anxious and smothering themselves when they get someone on the ropes or the corner. They basically do most of the work for the opponent. GGG is great at maintaining his distance while attacking. If Ward or anyone is going to tie him up, they're going to have to cut a lot of that distance themselves. Puts them in a dangerous spots.

If Canelo fights GGG, I see Canelo being KOed, but if I see Cotto fighting GGG, I see Cotto quitting on his stool which is way worst.

I'm not sure how you could predict such a thing, but it's crazy that people still say stupid **** like this when a fighter wound up in a hospital, in a coma, just last night.

I can't help but be disgusted by some so called boxing "fans" sometimes.

And the word you're looking for is "worse".

Damn bro you got real salty, chill. That was so random. Must be a die hard Canelo or Cotto fan.

I think Ward is too big for GGG, he's my hometown guy and I like GGG but I think Ward wins it via decision. I'm choosing defense over offense all day every day now.

Ward is bigger faster and craftier. GGG is technically sound but just not enough. He got a puncher's chance.

After seeing this fight tonight though, I'm 1000% positive that GGG beats Canelo if Oscar really tries to make that fight. Bigger man with a great jab and bodywork, way more power, accurate, throws looping power shots at awkward angles that are hard to prepare for and chin looks rock solid. Plus Canelo is too slow to try and take advantage of GGG with his footwork. Canelo has next to no chance of winning that fight.

But Canelo may not even get past Cotto so that might be looking too far ahead. I still kinda think Cotto/Canelo is 50/50.

Canelo is definitely bigger than Golovkin come fight time.

Let's say Golovkin does fight Ward.  IF he were to lose, would y'all call for Ward to move up and fight Kovalev to prove his worth or would that be a situation where an excuse is made based on weight?  Pretty sure Ward is as big or bigger than Kovalev come fight time.

People are already calling for Ward to fight Kovalev which I believe Ward will.

You're right, scratch that, they'll probably come in around the same size. I still haven't seen a solid number on GGG's in ring weight but I know Canelo is around 170-172. I don't think GGG will be far off in weight, but yeah Canelo could possibly come in a little heavier. He's still getting wrecked tho.

And yeah as was mentioned Ward Kovalev already talking right now

Canelo has NO chance of beating GGG.

G has more power, stamina, great footwork, cuts you off, better defense, just s better slugger/boxer all the way around.

I've been saying that I'm much more interested in seeing Ward/Kovalev than Ward/Golovkin.

Ward is too big for GGG and would be asking for too much. GGG isn't a big middleweight as it is. It just wouldn't be fair in my opinion.

Were you okay with GGG/Mayweather fight?

I just watched Peterson vs DIaz and think Diaz won, wouldn't call it a robbery though. Would like to see Diaz against the other guys at 140 or 147.

Hell no LMAO.

I never even mentioned May in this.
Quit swinging off dude's sack.

Golovkin weighed in at 170 before the fight. I believe Lemieux was closer to 175. Crazy what 5lbs difference can look like. Golovkin much more lean.

Because you're trying to bait me into a pointless argument lmao. It's so obvious.

No I wasn't, that's why I ask. I know a lot people were okay with GGG fighting Mayweather back in the May vs Pac thread. That's why I ask were you one of them. No need to get all defensive geez lol.

If you want to bring Mayweather into it, what did he weigh in at fight night most recently?

Given he refueled with an IV for the Pacquiao fight, you could argue Golovkin/Mayweather is closer weight wise than Golovkin/Ward.

Either way it doesn't matter, Mayweather is retired and if he comes out of retirement for another fight, it won't be for a challenge. He would be looking for an easy fight with a huge payday.

Thank you, sir.

The Rod over there is just being a certified troll.

Yeah I thought it was either a draw or one of them won by a max of 1 point. The judges had it like 117-111 and 116-112 for Peterson, which is ridiculous. Just awful.

I wasn't going to say anything but that Oscar hot 97 interview mad me upset

Why does he have this weird fixation on bashing Floyd yet none of the other new legends like Shane, Roy, , or Bhop not say anything bad about Floyd

Like does it really bother Oscar that much that Floyd made it on his own terms , if anything he should be happy because he was one of the first to do it

Oscar got female tendencies

He certainly enjoys dressing like a female

 @ those pictures always coming up every month or so.

Oscar seems like he legitimately doesn't like to watch Floyd's fighting style which is understandable, but on top of that he's definitely still mad that Floyd beat him. He looks lame to keep hating on Floyd like that.
