changes to how

I don't tip based on percentage crew

I tip $4-$6 every time crew

If you stick up for a server or you are a server.. **** off. This is not the thread for you.

If you took away mandatory tipping, you lazy *** servers would actually care about my cold *** food and empty drink. You would do your job and do it the best of your ability so you can then be rewarded form another person's wallet. ***** if you think I came to a restaurant to hear you " have the same things in common, traveled/have family in the locations, and other made up ********" to make me sidetracked since you haven't checked on my meal and you're in the "weeds" because you can't handle your ****.

I came to eat the food, and pay for the food. Not pay your tuition, gas, and club expenses. If you're a parent and you're serving then who the **** is putting your kid to sleep? c'mon now b.

I had servers TRY...TRY to tell me that I should serve instead of working at my full-time job with mad benefits. you serious bruh?

homie just came in and with his 6th post dropped Ether: The Extended Cut w/ 37 unreleased bars

I was just thinking why in most other countries tipping isn't common .. Food there( there here?) sometimes is a lot better and cheaper .. That's why I needed to make this thread for 2015 as the first time this year instead of bumping the old threads..

If you dont want to tip sit your *** at home and eat

I hate tipping too but when I don't want to tip I sit at home or go to a place that doesn't require it

So you actively think before you step out if you want to tip or not? And if you decide you don't, you hit up the drive-thru? that's wild.

When they add that mandatory tip I give them them the whole stroke.

But seriously other countries don't require it and in mcdonalds u leave ya trash there and they clean it up.

What's the norm for lunch and dinner for 2/4 people?

And if you wait for 6 hrs At red lobster for 5/hr u made $30+ $15 a table. (6 tables an hr). 90*6=540.

**** outta here

Its basically a 20 percent markup

You have to decide is the restaurant style food worth the markup in price and the tip

For some foods I don't think the restaurant food is worth it

Like Mexican Food or PF Changs vs a Pei Wei

Son really plans nights out depending on whether or not he's in the mood to tip

If you don't want to tip then don't do it. **** what everyone else thinks.

It's cool how NTers expect beyond excellent service from their servers but they spend their entire work day on NT.

How hard do you work...really?

I never understood how some people could be so active on NT.

Adults realize tipping is one those civilized things to do

"I'm not gonna tip because I don't feel like it"

What kind of scumbag **** is that?

You tip as part of ambience of eating out, if don't want to tip, sit your *** at home or takeout or go to some fast casual diner

Any 100% tippers?

I feel like buying a meal and eating it in front of someone and not helping them afford the same meal is shameful.

Not srs.

I always tip, but never understood the reasoning behind it. They're getting paid to do their job. I keep hearing the argument "well they work hard for a lousy salary." Well then find a different job. There are a ton of other professions that would claim the same reasoning to require tipping.

Basically

Tipping in europe isn't always expected and when it happens the tips are small by american standards.

Are they uncivilized? Not tipping doesn't make someone a scumbag. The thought that it does is silly as hell.

"Why do you do this?"

"I do it because I'm supposed to do it!"

".......But why do you do it?"

"Because shutup! Scumbag. I'm civilized ."

Can you guys help me out? I have a student loan of 4K to pay off before the next semester starts....
