Stuart Scott Dead after Long Battle with Cancer

RIP. No one should have to battle cancer for that long
 
least he made it into the new year

idk why this is so devastating to me...

Maybe because I spent so many summer days growing up with the TV as my babysitter and SportsCenter on repeat listening to Stuart's voice.

Really sad. RIP to a truly great personality.

When I first started watching him in Sportscenter, I couldn't appreciate what he was doing, I thought that he was doing too much trying to bring the "hip hop culture" to the program, I didn't think it needed it, so I thought it was corny, but in fact it was the opposite,it was brilliant how he made that aspect of sports watchable to other demographics. It truly is sad. RIP.

The feels bro, I lost my mom last February to mets, that is serious business man, like a runaway train. RIP to your dad because I know it wasn't easy.

Just shocked. I thought he had battled through. I remember getting cablevision when it first came to east new york and watching a sports show that was 30 minutes. I was told about sports center and then started watching like who is this. I grew up watching him and Boomer and Eisen and Patrick. Just wow man.
