They are indeed the same. Named Candy Reign, Sour Patch inspired, but for copyright reasons obviously they couldn't call it that

but I saw the Dark Matters in store when I picked up the 'Homes' and I was not really feeling them. They looked decent, but not something I wanted.

To put things in perspective: $120 gets you shoes like the KB Mentality, KD Treys, Hyperchase with a PU insole. You won't even sniff KD, Kobe or Lebron sig. retail prices at $120. That's what Nike is doing. Pushing high prices on their signatures and releasing cheaper versions with watered down technology. Think about it, you can get a Kobe shoe without it being his signature, same for KD and Lebron. I'm not mad because I know what I'm willing to pay or not pay, and I like to think I make informed purchases. My opinion is that this creates a greater sense of elitism when you can afford $150-200 shoes vs. whether you can't. Not to sound like I'm just a Nike hater because they have made some of my favorite shoes of all time and I wear a lot of their clothing. Nike Elite basketball socks to me are the best in terms of value and performance.
But if we're talking about $120 in hand and you have to choose a basketball shoe, how could I not try out the first sig. of the frontrunner for MVP this season? $120 gets you UA's marquee signature basketball shoe with all of their latest tech. I'm starting to feel more and more that SC signing with UA is like destiny. Just a perfect storm of the right people coming together at the right time.
