OFFICIAL UA CURRY 1 : CHARGED BY BELIEF. PLAYOFFS RELEASE 5/22 /// MVP'S 6/13

I passed on the Father to Son pair. The support from UA offered a pair of it earlier today because of what happened to my failed MVP order last week.
I requested for the blue lowtops instead since that's the one I really like.

They cancelled your order due to oversold/no stock? Good on them to still offer a guaranteed pair of a future release since it seems every cw from now on will sell out quickly.

prices right now on ebay are crazy. kinda ridiculous to be honest. Seems to me that UA tries to create that Jordan hype by keeping numbers low. I mean how many pairs did they actually release? 50?

its ua and resellers fault

they probably use bots now to get currys

once they see they can get as much as they did for the dubnation it was all downhill from there

no, no "good on them"

from mvps to those blue yellow with a out of place black midsole lows. hell naw thats not a fair trade off

what would have been fair is if they limit to 1 plus made more pairs...

hope the curry 2 go straight to big 5

I’m mega-salty about this hype; throw me on the road and I’ll melt your snow. I love UA & love curry so I was excited for the curry one release. Had no issues picking up dark matters from the same store. Now I gotta leave work mid-day just for a chance at these. Curry rising to superstar status is out of our control, but you’d think UA would produce more pairs to match the increase in Curry fandom.

UA was smart with the theme 30/30 Father To Son. Plus released them in kids sizes to match. Only thing they did wrong was made them limited which I think they did because of the colors on the shoe. (Dell Curry was a Hornets player)

^^ that was his longest stint, with the Hornets and what he's most remembered for.  He's "played" on other teams.

Raptors for one, but everyone will remember him as a Hornet.

He is widely regarded in NC (as I'm sure you know, mehoneydee!). Still does color commentary for Hornets games.

Go Hornets.

^^Yeah, I followed them back in the day since they were the newest and closet team.  My first time seeing Kobe, Shaq, & Rick Fox in person was against the Hornets.

I kinda stopped following them when that dude died in the car accident, the one that was racing with Wesley.  After all their struggles, I'm glad to see that franchise back on track now.

This wasn't a nice colorway for me. But I wanted to cop kinda cuz I wanted another shie for basketball. Oh well. Anyone have any experience with the Lebron x?

so much for the
"GENERAL RELEASE"

I honestly think that they probably made the same amount of shoes for all colors, but decided to not ramp up production to meet demand.  Same amount of shoes, but exponentially more people wanted them as the season went on.  In Feb, all I was seeing about Curry One comments was, "Ugly as F***" or "UA is trash" or "Curry needs to resign with Nike" or "I'll never buy Under Armour"

John Wall, Kyrie Irving and Damian Lillard had their 1st sigs released this year and had they won the MVP and Championship it would be their shoes constantly out of stock, but right now it is easy to find at least one of their shoes in stock.

It is just now with the Curry dethroning Lebron as the new face of the NBA, that everybody wants a piece of the glory.

Kyrie, Walls, and Lillards sold really well due to the low prices. With the way the prices are higher on the more established signature athletes, consumers are gonna gravitate to those lesser priced shoes. The career year for Curry and the Warriors helped put this shoe and UA on a magnifying glass. If Kyrie, Wall, or Lillard does what Curry/team has done it'll be the same for their respective shoes/company. We just have to ride the wave.

Bobby Phills. It was cool they brought his jersey back from New Orleans to hang back in Charlotte.
