Serious or minor, it doesn't matter. I've been driving almost daily for almost a decade :wow: & to this day, I have not seen an accident as it's happening. I've seen mangled pile ups and a handful of cars burning on the median.

The aftermath is undoubtedly what most people will encounter while out on the roads, but I can't shake this feeling that any day now, I'm gonna be witness (or worse, victim) to a serious accident. Not the least bit scared to hit the road though; I assume everyone out there can't drive for **** so I'm always defensive.

But back to the point, share what you saw. Your reaction?

I can only imagine the moments being so surreal. If you were witness, did you throw on your cape or stick your tail between your legs?

Edit:

I thought I jinxed myself this morning. I'm driving to work on the highway (Bruckner in the Bronx). I'm in the fast lane and there is a taxi in the middle lane, about a car length ahead of me. This FOOL begins to drift into my lane, no signal, nothing. He's creeping over so slowly that it looks like he's just drifting in the lane. Next thing I know he's inches from hitting me and I slam my brakes and honk the horn violently.

I avoid getting hit and the driver doesn't even skip a beat. He just continued to drift into my lane, same speed, no indicator as if my car wasn't even there and he was the only on the road.

School bus in high school and in my moms truck in middle school.

Oh yeah and I crashed my mom's Caddy into a tree on an icy road one winter, when I was 3 or 4. :smh:

She beat my *** :smh:

3 or 4?

I only saw an accident happen a few years ago after we had a hurricane and the traffic lights weren't fully operational. Saw a car smack into the side of this other car while driving.

Also in the past few months I've seen two cars hop medians and hit signs. Weird.

Been in two minor accidents.

I witnessed a Range Rover and a Expedition get into a accident. Expedition t boned the Range and the Range literally flew in the air did a flip and landed upside down :smh: scary as hell. Dude climbed out the window and sat on the curb waiting for the cops

Heard an accident this morning, but didn't actually see it, just the aftermath.

I've seen the craziest car flip while driving right by it as it happened. Everything just turned to slow motion, there was a guy jogging on the sidewalk and he immediately started running toward the car. The car got T boned and flipped on it's side.. Me and my homie just drove by like nothing happened. Feels bad man

Was driving with my father like 15 years ago on Kenilworth Ave in Hyattsville. Saw a dude drive over a median, and drive nose first into a lampost. It was broad day light. Dude was drunk. By father that wildest thing I have seen, car wise.

Oh yea got in like 3  accidents when I visited Egypt couple years back everyone driving reckless out there.

I'm 26 and I have been in two car accidents, both very minor, wasn't driving in either one of them.  One was actually when I was too young to remember.

The one I can remember being in, my cousin (the driver) will swear it was because of the ice on the road, but I honestly think he was just jamming too hard to 50 Cent and forgot what to do at a red light.  It happened a couple days after Get Rich or Die Trying dropped.

Every telephone pole got a car wrapped around it like bow, round these parts.

I've seen plenty of them. This past September I was in a 5 car accident on Route 1 in Alexandria. A corvette ran into the car behind me at a red light causing a chain reaction, totaling my car. I wasn't injured but I was pretty paranoid about falling asleep that night

i saw a unmarked police crown victoria t bone a jeep liberty , the crown victoria was speeding even though the police department says it wasnt ( grimey pd like always , they also got in trouble because they air-lifted the officer who had just a broken leg , and the girl who was passenger in the jeep liberty died on scene ) .........the jeep liberty rolled over about 3-4 times into another car dealership and hit a few cars there........it was so violent that i had i guess a "panic attack" almost......kind of like that before you fight feeling that you almost want to cry but your shaking ....i guess thats the adrenaline......few people from the gas station ran over right away , ima be honest i freaked out ....i work in the towing industry and grew up in a towing company , ive seen 2 other accidents real time , and ive seen TONS of mangled up cars ......blood still dripping on the flatbed......."ground beef" of humans in the car still.......but i had never seen something so violent in real time ....either way cop broke his leg , driver of jeep liberty broke a lot of bones , and the passenger passed away......rip to that girl ....i looked it up after cause i wanted to know more ...

bruh....

Nah, I can't judge. I don't know why I'd do in that situation. I'd like to think I'd do more than that though.

illicit305 illicit305 , wow. I couldn't stomach being exposed to that as part of the work environment.

Hell yea lol
Really dumb.

2012 myself and a bunch of people were driving down 2 myrtle beach because this dude had a beach house there.
I was riding with said dude and it was just the two of us.
this dude was sipping from a bottle while driving and about 45 min away i spark one up.
he says he has not smoked in a year but i think the alcohol made him give in.
So dude hits the L and the bottle and maybe 10 min later hes done.
like this dude is driving fast as hell....all on peoples bumbers...he was driving so bad i knew we were going to crash or get a ticket.

so were lost and hes still driving the same...dude shoots around a curve really fast and he goes over somthing (i cant remember) and drives RIGHT THROUGH THE FRONT OF A BANK.
swear to god.

the airbags came out and there was smoke everywhere.
I looked around and hopped out.....i think police were following us or someone called then because of his eratic driving because they were there maybe 39 seconds after.
how bout this dude goes to the side of the building and tells me to hide smdh.

anyway i thought i was going to jail but i didnt drink and the crash sobered me up from the weed. One of the cops drove me to a hotel and i went from there.

Ol boys mom called me the next day askin where her son was.
then dude called me acouple weeks later with his lawyer talkin bout he doesnt remember being drunk. That dui is big.
think he wanted me to make a statement or sumthin

Cop that drove me home said he couldnt believe i was alive.

crazy.

Last winter
It was me my Bo and a homie that met up with two other homies to smoke

We met up hotboxing in the car laughs and jokes n ****

Everything was all good right?

When we were done we decided to go to the homies crib and play 2k

My brother was driving and I noticed he didn't have his lights on

So we're driving coming up on
this curve beside a lake
When it was time I turn it the curve and I notice my brother didn't turn the wheels so I started shouting his name and grab the wheel

He finally "woke up" and starts panicking as we were headed straight for the lake

For some reason he hit the gas while he's wildly swing the steering wheel and needed up hitting a tree

Jumped outta that car quick af

Blew my high  :smh:

I saw this car in front of me get hit and the lady in the back seat fell out the window halfway and slammed into the door. Then someone pulled her back in real quick.

When I first got my license I hit the car in front of me cuz it was wet and rainy and the guy in front of me stopped at a yellow light real quick when he shoulda just kept going. He pulled over and I just took off. I later crashed that car on freeway. I guess karma got me.

More than my fair share of both. Worst one was a dude getting run over right in front of me.

Last year, on the way to pick up my daughter, my wife was driving around a rounded corner. Back roads, doin probably 50 or so, no hurry or nothin, there was a truck in the opposite lane getting ready to turn. For some reason, he says he didn't see us, and hit the gas. My wife SLAMMED on the breaks, screamed, and we absolutely plow into his front passenger side tire. We were in a Toyota Corolla, he in a Dodge pickup

Spun us around, and in some sort of I don't know what, my window was open, and I had a water bottle in my hand, as we're still sliding, haven't even finished spinning yet, I am throwing my water bottle out the window cussing at the top of my lungs at this mother ******.

Airbags blow all up, car is totaled, wife and I are ok, so I have to force open my door, and I go over to see the other driver, I am 50/50 on helping, or finishing the damn person, and it turns out to be an older gentleman, maybe 60+ and I instantly felt bad and just made sure he was cool, and then walked away from him.

His fault, he took the blame, says he didn't see us but wasn't sure, cops came, bunch of witnesses, and here's the funny thing. One of the witnesses, completely got it all backwards. Had us goin North, and the truck goin South, when it was the complete opposite. Had the cop lookin around like, "are you sure maam?" She was dead set, yes officer, I saw everything. :smh: People see things happen so fast, they get stuff twisted up in their minds.

3-4 years back, I saw a full on head on collison as some lady dropped her cell phone, leaned down to get it, and completely veered into oncoming traffic. There was a pickup in the left lane, I was right on his back wheel in the right lane, we both saw her coming, slammed brakes, she slammed dead set into his front end. If it wasn't for him, she woulda been eatin my front end. They all turned out alright, but banged up pretty bad I'm sure.

I saw a Jeep flip over a barricade into a ditch two years ago....pulled over to help and kept the driver company while the paramedics arrived. Aside from a few scratches she was ok.

Took my mother to a doctor's appointment down in BK last year, while I was looking for a parking I came across an intersection with a stop sign at both directions. Pulled off after checking (swear I didn't see a damn thing coming) this Honda Civic came speeding at me....they hit the brakes, tires squealing and I jerked the car to the right as far as I could. Missed ramming into me by inches, there was barely any space between my car and the other car. I don't know how I kept my composure

Got rear ended in a parking lot...**** totaled my car :smh: make it so bad the old guy tried suing me but lord he got killed in the deposition  lying about injuries he previously had

Worst accident was in the parking lot. I'm waiting perpendicular to all the other cars waiting for this one to go out. They take their sweet *** time and then this one old lady and her eem older mom get in the car that's directly perpendicular to mine. They begin to back out and I see them so I start honking my car and I yell at them but of course they don't look, they only look one way. Well my honking made them nervous or something so they speed out and t-bone me. Then they get out the car and tell me it's my fault and complain about how this old woman now has a neck pain cause they hit me. Witnessess see all of it and then when I get their insurance info it turns out their insurance expired

Another time in this same parking lot and with a different car I witnessed a woman, Asian just like the one in the first story, try and park next to my car but instead swipe the entire the side. I'm standing there and other people see it too and she pulls away and parks down several spots away. I walk up to her and axe for her insurance info and she starts talking in this funny language I can't understand. Then she gets in the car and pulls away. I give all this info to the police and eem had video of it. Of course nothing happens cause police say they can't tell the license plate from the video.
