Aqua 8s Black Friday 2015

I like the 2007's more than the OG's and 2015's. With all that said, it would still get the 2015's.

1. If you like the 2007 pair better, buy that pair and be happy, or deal with the new pair.
2. Just like with the Bordeaux's, it is okay to like the older retro more but don't make it seem that the new retro is terrible and not as OG because you are wrong and the opposite is true.
3. The more people pass because one little change (back to the OG) make more pairs available to the people who don't care.



And bro above, your pair is obviously a GS pair which are always variants of the real thing(Men's pairs,)

Man it is literally like statements becoming truth before my eyes where when the 2007 release happened and everyone complained about the aquas using a darker grey compared to the OG release and then dudes were like "you're still gonna cop anyway, blah blah blah, they could give you the shoe exactly how it came out and you'd still find something to complain about". This is that lol. But I mean if you like the 2007s better then hey that's you. I like the lighter grey used on the 2015s to make them appear closer to the originals. I always appreciated the contrast between the light grey and black, felt as if it gave a more 90s vibe IMO

I have a feeling this thread won't be any different than the Bordeaux thread. 1 OG and 2 different retros with a color shade difference.

Man...the good ol' days. Hah I remember I copped the Aqua 8's for $110 at FNL because it was on sale. Wouldn't mind another pair though that's for sure.
 
The 2015s are pretty much identical to the OGs from the darker purple sparkled paint, grey on the heel n pattern color on the outsole. :smokin
 
We already should know that these may have craftsmanship issues because this is a mass produced release but as long as it's nothing like marks on the toe or noticeably weird mistakes I'm good. Never really cared about glue flaws or anything.

But I know the NT B**ching police will tear these apart regardless

My love for this shoe negates any attention that may be paid at nitpicking.

The pair in that instagram video highlighting the sparkling paint seemed to be pretty awesome craftsmanship
 
Idk why everyone is surprised with the lighter grey heel consider Nike showed the fall lineup months ago :lol:

Only thing that I didn't notice until now was the sparkling purple paint. The overall shape also looks better than the 2013 retros

As much as I love my 2007 aquas and appreciate them for what they are im gonna pass on these. I'm just over that chunky basketball sneaker part of my life. If I got these they'd get to little to zero wear and just stay on the box just like all of my 8s are going right now. Just not a good look in a time where I rock mostly fitted/tapered clothes in my opinion.
