Depends, if you want really want this shoe now at all costs then get them from your connect. You should be able to at least win one draw, with the amount of pairs stores are receiving. The hares and bourdeauxs sat at a lot of places and they are more/or equally as popular than the aquas IMO, but you have to consider that black friday releases receive a lot of hype. Or, you can just cop the kicks through resell in a couple months because I think the resell price will be virtually the same as retail.

Leather underneath strap has slightly better leather quality underneath than playoff 8s but pretty much same besides that. Midsole doesn't look like it will chip as it's not like "candy paint" like previous pair. Midsole has better "softness/pressability" than playoff 8s.

These are looking nice, still unsure whether I want these or the chromes, I might just have to get both.

 If these are anything like the new 4's (Columbia's in particular) I don't think the cracking will be an issue. I know @Zyzz  said he saw some columbia 4's crack, but I've worn mine like 30+ times and the paint looks brand new and no signs of chipping.
 
Sweet pics. Cannot wait .. current status of recent releases. Indicate a guarantee cop. Sneaker game is slowing up and making it easy peasy but jordan is making it killer on the wallet with these price increase. Real sneaker buyers should have vip coupons though from footlocker or finishline. That 20$ discount is wassup

I didn't grab the 4s but I felt them in person

As long as the 8s are stable enough to last a few years before chipping with moderate to casual wears

I'll consider it acceptable to my standards.

I'm going hard for these but I think Ima just try the raffle but these have to be mine thanks for the advice guys I was in the mall today had a good convo about kicks with a store manager at footaction.. I got love for the game haha

I don't think they will chip ever tbh. Of course I could be wrong, but if JB gave these the same treatment as the 4's then we are good to go IMO.
 
I know these are a big general release and all but I just feel like these gonna fly fast online. I think more people want then hype indicates.

It's going to be just like the Black Infrared release, resale for these might hit $300 at the most.
