My ftl told me next week. Imma be pissed if i go and they say it was last week.

I would have been the type of customer to show her a picture of the Grape 5s and then a picture of the Aqua 8s that said Air Jordan 8 Retro Aqua

Air sak a job at FTL ain't the gig to have to be spreading sneaker knowledge, nobody really had time for it. Your managers wanna hear about how the colors match up with snapbacks and shirts, customers also give blank stares at history lessons. It's all about sales in retail shoe stores. Trust me I know.

True, I wish people did have the time and the knowledge and history was apart of the sneaker buying experience.  I know it's about sales and commissions and trying to persuade the customer why they need a certain product.
 
Only way if work for footlocker or Finishline is through the corporate office. Working in the store is cool but the pay isn't lol

To air sak about working at a shoe store: No man that's a pointless wish. This message board is a remote representation of people who actually care about the history behind the shoes they buy, maybe. You go to college in sc right? how many other ppl on your campus are on nt? All the ppl on campus that aren't on forums like this or follow and check sneaker sites on the regular are the rest of the ppl who don't care about that type of stuff lol. Ppl who don't care compared to ppl who do is like 20 to 1, if that.

I remember I was explaining to a customer the appreciation I had for the release of the cb94 air max 2 and the air pippen 1 this year in OG colorways and also white based counterparts done in supple white leather, and was showing details like the '33' used in the design on the pippen 1 only to be cut off about some kobe venomenons we had on sale. :rolleyes

Also the pay ain't the best

Im convinced dude just says stuff to get a rise out of people like me. I'm done falling for it. No way any one person can be as clueless as he is. It's so annoying and absurd that it's actually funny at this point.
 
Hey guys I have a really dumb question but I just want to ask it out since I have never cop Js from footlocker before... So do I have to win a raffle ticket to be able to buy the aqua 8s or can I just go the store and buy the shoe? Since if I can buy the shoes easily at the store then I do not need to wait for hours to pray to add the shoe in my cart lol. This shoe is dope!

You have to win the raffle. Footlockers have already done their raffles for these, sorry. Try champs on Monday.

?  I mean work at FootLocker for a summer/holiday job.  I'm going to school to become a pediatrician; you didn't really think I wanted a permanent job at FootLocker did you?

Same scenario at HoH here in CT - stopped Tuesday night to enter the raffle and I was one of two people who put in for a size 10. Looked to be about 20 names on the list total.
