Marvel can make the films and Sony can continue to cake off having those film rights. They didn't allow Marvel to do Spidey because of the fans lol.

 at you thinking the two are mutually exclusive. This is Fox's current problem. Don't cater to the fans. Expect the box office to act accordingly(most of the time). You're gonna get the crowds that just want to see a decent comic film that they never read. You're not gonna get the swarms of repeat Marvel viewers to bring that box office closer to a bill. It's bad business simply due to ego.

20th Century Fox Reportedly Considering Some Sort Of Team-Up With Marvel Studios

Talking on the latest episode of Collider Heroes, Matt Key, a producer on Kevin Smith's Fatman on Batman podcast, had this to say about some interesting rumblings he's been hearing. "I've heard from a few of my sources, my little birds that Fox and Marvel have... kind of talked, but not really, but like there's interest from Fox, like, 'Ooh, y'know, what they did with Sony and Spider-Man is actually pretty cool, like, maybe...' We're years away from that ever possibly happening... but I think that's what it would take... Fox joining hands with Marvel..."
 ******* losers

Time to bend the knee to your superior.

In the past I figured this would never happen cuz these other studios execs were too stubborn and probably thought they knew what they were doing and were doing it before Marvel. Add in the simple deals being made going around all the red tape it seems to be the smart thing to do given how much they fail.

Only a matter of time before DC does the same.

Apocalypse did 515M so far, Civil War did 1146M.
I think I would probably beg if somebody gave me an opportunity to (probably easily) make an extra 600M.
Deadpool did not do well because of Fox. Deadpool did well in spite of Fox.

Well that's why you here typing online. Deadpool is owned by fox you can pass responsibility for success all you want, but THEY reaped all the box office. Both their comic movies made money, one was a modest success while the other was a MONUMENTAL success. You legit think they care people online hate their movies? People went out and paidfor Xmen A overseas and they made a modest return.
They should care. Bad word of mouth is what stopped Apocalypse from being a straight up success.

The diminishing returns have already started for Fox Marvel movies.

Fox did not believe in Deadpool. Tim Miller believed in Deadpool. Fox didn't want to make the movie for years until footage leaked. And then they were only willing to let Tim Miller direct the movie after two budget cuts.

'Believing in the movie' my behind

I wonder if the fox bosses realize how dumb they are or if they even care.

Yup word of mouth definitely killed this movie. I, who usually sees any movie opening day, waited until the second week. My other friends either waited or didn't watch it. Nothing in this had any fan service that made any mom say you have to watch that because of so and so. Unlike CW
With Bp, Spidey, antman, Tony bs Steve. Take your pick. Any of them had scenes worth watching alone.

Bruh

That and the Megaman X games were wild when you had to fight a boss like that.

Deadpools after credit scene for Apocalypse trailer

Never seen this trailer, it's good, makes it look like you're in for the most lit xmen film ever.

Fox isn't going to let Marvel produce any films they own rights to. They caked off heavy with Deadpool. It won't happen. Fox believed in Deadpool. The reason why the budget was low is because the movie is rated r. Smart move by fox IMO.the movie turned out GREAT and made a ton of money.

Terrible post, like you just blurbed on in spite of all the facts actually out there about the hurdles they had jump to make the film plus fox clearly not believing in the film for over a decade. What the hell. Some Trump ****.

The fact that they keep pushing out mystique/JLaw as the main character/protagonist/focus/savior of mutants says a lot about Fox production. Even trying to put aside my comic nerd bias, i got tired of the mystique show towards the end of DoFP but like others have said JLaw is a big star now so they need to milk it

JLaw has alluded to in interviews she doesn't want to be in these anymore but she signed the contract

That's why she was not in make up for most of the movie, rumors are she tried to get herself fired from future movies

I thought her contract was up with this recent movie. Its why Singer was talking out his *** about a Mystique solo even if JLaw is t the lead.

She's been doing a lot of double talk since she got the time. First she had that jackass David O. Russell whine like a ***** for her about great actors being tied down by these multi movie contracts cuz he sees those as lesser movies. Then she said she wanted out. Then she said she can't wait to do more. Most recently she said some nonsense like she made a deal with McAvoy and Fass that if all of them don't come back none of them will  :smh:

So it's hard to take any of that seriously.I'd prefer if they just killed Mystique.

Don't need to kill her  but it's Mystique and the X-Men show. At least tone down her role, especially if she JLaw doesn't wanna be around anymore have her do a few scenes and put her name on the posters, or better turn her into a proper villain as she should be she ain't down with the cause anyway. Don't save her Charles, she don't wanna be saved.

I think he is just fearful of Marvel literally having a monopoly on all great superhero movies forever.

If Fox bends the knee, it'll be over. Marvel will make a great F4 movie and then retool X-Men to be better and they'll have 3 legit franchises to dominate yearly when you add in the Avengers. Then there's GOTG with appearances by Silver Surfer and any alien race they want.

Just by a #s standpoint with all Marvel properties United they'll be releasing 6 more movies on average yearly.
