I had to turn my television down cause Martha's moans be too much.

Season is definitely going to be interesting. Phillip and Elizabeth are gonna be clashing with their different views for Paige's life growing up.

No care in the world for their other kid Henry though

Stan still can't be straight up honest to his estranged/ex wife.

Seems like Phillip didn't care what happened to Annelise. She was already airing out stuff to the dude and I guess it was better for Phillip to turn the dude to thinking he was an ally than to keep her alive and worry about her snitching.

Martha is damn fun. Philip is definitely enjoying his time with her. Weird how a tough spy like Elizabeth couldn't handle the pounding when she asked him to pretend she was Martha.

Nina sergeva still looked damn good in her little moscowian prison sweat suit. :smokin

Word Nina still looking fine in that Russian gulag. Thought she was gonna make the Belgian chick her prison *****.

Gotta say Phil and Liz were taking it too far and just straight ODing with how they put away ol girl's body. They didn't need to break all her limbs to get her in that rolling bag. I've seen too many bodies put in to suitcases without all that work and they were smaller bags at that. Just put them in the fetal position and you're good. At best you'd have to break their neck to tuck them in maybe break the sternum and a rib or two due to compression. So foul to do ol girl like that :smh:

It must've been just to take a pic of the middle eastern guy.

 @ Liz's jaw still hurting from that fight. Wincing when she eats a grape but no lie I just wanted to grab Keri Russell from behind when I seen her in her nighty

Another good ep though, I'd say better than the premiere in some ways.

Man she's the worst isn't she. Little stank ***.

Out of all the TV show daughters with bad attitudes. She takes the cake for me for some reason.

Brodies daughter on Homeland was more likable.
Idk, she's in the better half imo. Her >>>>the daughters on Homeland, Ray Donovan, Banshee.

So that was Tony Kornheiser , lol. Wish we still had 35 cent candy bars.

Yea, she's not that bad this year. I think she accepted Jesus and calmed the F down.

Man that luggage scene had me cringing.

So far this season, FX gives no dambs whatsoever.  Full on naked woman ***, kama sutra positions, showing a dude getting shot point blank in the head and multiple damn near compound fractures.

  I like it.

I agree with you guys about the bone-breaking..couldn't help but cringe during that scene.

Good to see them working my boo Nina back into this season.

Kornheiser

This guy actually asked for a cameo on PTI a few months back..guess he got his wish.

What do you guys think of the issues between Phil and Liz regarding their daughter's future?

What do you guys think of the issues between Phil and Liz regarding their daughter's future?

Since the first season, Phil has been longing to defect. I don't think he's been seduced America per say, but the freedom. He doesn't want his family in danger whereas Elizabeth inherited that old school - austere Soviet way of sacrificing everything for the country.

Liz's broken tooth seems to be a personification of her devotion to the mission(s).

If I were in that position, I'd never let my child work in the spy game. As a parent, you want better for your child. You don't want them to live a life of danger.

Very telling that Liz responded to Phil about him wanting a guarantee that their kids would always be safe. Uh duh, that should be yes all the time...

If I were Phil, I wouldn't trust Gabriel though. I'd be very careful of saying anything to him.

Kudos to the waitress in the bar of the last episode though... She rattled off bunch of beers the bar had. I kept thinking it was going to end sooner than it did.

Excellent analysis. I agree 100% that a parent should want better for their kids than they have. Phil understands this ideal but Liz's story about when she told her mom she was going to America and her mom's response is telling. Liz puts country above everything.

I also think that Phil realizes they are losing the war. He realizes that nothing they're doing will change Reagan and that they will lose in Afghanistan.

I think it's telling how Phil is trying to be so careful & Liz is willing to go all out like when Liz went after Yousef when he went to met the CIA... Phil was like wait & she was gone, damn the danger.

Phil's risk aversion is a liability in the spy game though. I wonder if Gabriel can sense that hence the meet up alone with Liz. What's dangerous is if the homeland gets a sense that Phil doesn't want to cooperate.

I hope Zinaida gets capped... How can she be so unaware that she might be a target for assassination, especially going on a media tour. I bet she didn't even work where she said she did. I bet she was a school teacher or a nurse or something.

Excellent episode. Anyone else hope the real CIA and FBI are more competent than the guys and gals on the Americans? How do you have Liz and Phil cornered with 11 cars and still lose them?

They're definitely raising the suspense levels this season. They've done stuff with cars before but this was tense as ****. Since the premiere they're really hitting it home that Liz (mostly) and Phil are close to being caught the more they do these dangerous assignments. This whole thing with the CIA Afghan group got me thinking by the end of the season somebody is going to be own to them.

This stuff with the daughter is killing me. I really hope it's a moot point cuz they just kill her randomly

It's not so much 11 cars cornered her it's just that they had 11 in a radius at every intersection to keep following the same car. If one car ***** up and their radios are down it's easy for her to escape in another car.

As for competence, it's the 80s. They had less advanced tech. Mind you they find out other clever ways to do spy ****, find out spy ****, etc. One thing I couldn't relate to and almost laugh was them having those big *** radios in the car in order to communicate with each other

Is there a reason why the Russians don't have a dentist?
The tooth pain has been with her since the beginning of the season. They had someone perform on her after she got shot but they don't have a dentist for her tooth pain?

Henry had been missing the whole time so far and he shows up to be exposed to fapping the the harlot neighbor

I guess in a sense treating gun shot wounds takes a bit more technicality and possible use of drugs so they got a specialist but teeth problems? They probably keep it Russian and just pull out their own teeth like we finally saw here.

I think they only waited so long cuz she was hoping it wouldn't hurt that much after a while.

yeah, Russians dont need a damn dentist for teeth issues.  Just some Vodka and channellocks and they are good.  In soviet russia, everyone dentist.
