OFFICIAL Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) Thread - DK,FD vol. Addictive Personalities Beware

Cash games secured :pimp: ended my rough 3 day cash game skid. Tomorrow I'm stacking Bucks/Suns and calling it a day man

Came up nicely on DK as well. Just need Randle to pull another 20-15 game lol

tonight is a great night

Yup. Lowry and Drummond are must plays. Fournier is at a great value right now too.

Lowry is my fav player in dfs period. He gets the job done every night. Can't recall him ever pulling what AD did tonight  his floor is 30+ points.

Yeah him and Drummond prices are going to sky rocket soon enough, enjoy them now while you can still put them into nice LU's

Easy cash night for me.. everyone hit value or exceeded it.

Wish I played more, but oh well. I'll keep it simple and learn my lesson by not trying to load up the next night after a high scoring night. A couple cash plays, maybe a multiplier, and a GPP, call it a day.

Thinking the same thing, but you gotta stay gracious and humble.

My strategy at this point is 1-2 $1-$5 GPPs and a few 50/50s. A balanced approach as opposed to loading up on GPPs

I've just been up and down. I'd be conservative, play a few cash games, and destroy my competition. So the next night I do a bunch of cash games and then throw in multiple GPP lineups... only to crash and burn

So I'll limit myself and see how that treats me.

Slow and steady with calculated risks.

I'm just proud to see "1st" in this 50/50

Never play above 30% of your bankroll. I break my lineups down as 25% cash games, 5% GPP's. It helps a lot budgeting your lineups.

I'm learning this budgeting thing the more I play. That's a good strategy.

Yeah, I "know" about management, I just get bored and don't care some days

But I figure if I'm going to take it seriously, I shouldn't mess around and I'll keep my budget in mind.

Cash games - 50/50s, H2Hs, Multipliers

GPPs = guaranteed prize pools (tournaments)

Pros of GPPs = higher upside for payouts

Cons of GPPs = payout cutoff is a lot higher

A GPP usually requires you to finish in the top 20% to cash where as a cash game isn't so harsh. 50/50s = finish in the top 50%, Triple ups = 30%, double ups I think around 40%.

A lot of times if you cash in a GPP you're cashing at the bottom which is either doubling your entry or slightly more. This being the case, it's much wiser to put more money into cash games because your chances of winning the same payout is much higher. Rather than risk you $25 hoping to just make that cutoff and double your money, play a 50/50 with better odds.

I learned this the hard way.

Got lucky my first 2 weeks and placed in some tourneys winning some hunnids on 5 and 2 dollar deposits

, boy was I wrong

Cash games are where its at

Cash games if you want to win.  (and gain confidence)

GPP's if you want to win big. (and are confident)

18pts out from from top ten in $2 GPP and 12 out in a $1. I'm about to recoup all my losses this football season men. Feels good.

SMH they pulled Gay for the game. It's all on Randle.
