I don't understand the hate towards the "Sharks". They look dope. I think a light grey swoosh would look nice, it would show on both sides. Also no one expected an exact duplication of the HTM model-I didn't. And we always adjust/tinker after seeing how the first wave of sneakers come out. And the really cool thing about the Nike ID program is that we can dispose of them if we dislike, no strings attached. So I'm stoked

I agree on the disposing if you don't like, which is great.  A grey swoosh wouldn't be a bad idea at all because it shows both sides like you said.
 
I'm 100% certain I could take every possible precaution and follow instructions to the letter, and I would still somehow botch an attempt at painting the medial swoosh white when my sharks get here.

If you have any beaten to death pairs, practice on them. Better to mess up on them and learn what you can before painting the real one. 
 
The thirst is real. Wonder who else is gonna paint the black swoosh white. I was gonna take it a step further and dye the midsole to a icy blue along with my blue glow outsole, but I will see once I get them in hand. Two weeks can't come fast enough

you can see individual red strands on the black sections. I don't think it's painted/colored over grey like last years. Especially if you look at those and these in comparison. This looks like real flyknit when last years was obvious. I got a blue pair of the 9 ids and it was awful. I highly doubt these are.
 
I was trying to hold off on a Shark pair...but all these pics...I gotta get one. Put them on your feet and show them off!

Which were individual grey strands they colored red. That isn't red thread it would be much more vibrant. The easy way to tell is check the inside

it looks the same but that they did a better job saturating it. REAL flyknit would be as vibrant as the Chesters

i'm just saying it looks nothing like was happened last year. Colored over or not, it looks like legit red flyknit rather than a grey upper airbrushed over.

I ordered a black and red pair (asymmetrical). Reason I picked the asymmetrical is it looked brighter and redder that the red upper shown above (the black flyknit intertwined seems to water-down the red. Too bad I wont find out until mid august.
 
Are the speckles on the outside or inside of the midsole that's encased in the clear piece?
