I dropped Kipnis as well. Lots of good 2B's out there. Got Travis on the wire last week and picked up LeMahieu today. He's an RBI machine even though he's hitting down in the order.

Just saw Carlos Martinez on the FA list and scooped him up real quick too.

No. Allen has all of Tito's confidence, he's just started slow out of the gate.

If you really need another closer that bad there must be someone else you're willing to drop and I would probably look to pick up Soria.

I'm set since Chapman is my other closer.

I doing it not based on performance (though he has pitched poorly), but more so on number of appearances. Familia and Soria have 10 and 9 appearances respectively to Allen's 6 and have racked up the saves. That could even out over time though along with his pitching.

Closers are closers. I wouldn't wait too long for him to get in a groove when you've got Familia and Soria already doing their thing.

Was offered Utoey for Shane Greene lulz. No shot I trade Greene after one bad start against lefties when he had trouble commanding his change up.

I'm 0-3 bound . My staff has let me down, as has Melancon on occasion.

My lineup on paper isn't bad, it's more the point system my commissioner created :x .

I need a shakeup.

Jesse Chavez going into the rotation in place of Graveman who got demoted.  I picked up Chavez last week for the 1 guaranteed start and am wishing I hung onto him honestly.  Might be a good pickup for anyone looking for a pitcher.

I wouldn't have blamed anyone for starting him with the way he's started out the season.  Honestly I still think this could be a breakout year for him but this definitely puts a damper on that for a bit.

Getting a bit worrisome from the 0-3 start. Released Werth, and proposed this trade and the offer was accepted:

I get Charlie Blackmon and Shelby Miller,
He gets Cuddyer, Big Papi and Fister (mind you, this was my counter-off to Blackmon/Miller for McCutchen)

My team is in shambles right now . Lost both Adam Wainwright and Brandon McCarthy this week . Also have David Wright, Christian Yelich, Ben Zobrist, and Josh Hamilton on my bench/DL (with only 2 DL slots) :x. Replaced the pitchers with Anthony DeSclafani and Shane Greene. Also added Jimmy Paredes. Hoping he continues to get steady playing time. He's been killing it.

dropped werth for tom koehler. if i didn't have the injury issues i'd stay with werth but i dont need him and i need pitching. hopefully koehler figures it out. not crazy about him but wasn't much else out there.

Hmm that's a tough one.  Ortiz is a notoriously slow starter, so I'd try and hold for now.  I do like Blackmon, but you're sacrificing a lot of RBIs and power for some runs and speed, and I think Fister>Miller as well.  Really depends on the need of your team, but without knowing that I'd prefer the Cuddyer/Ortiz/Fister side.

Not a bad pickup.  See if Travis Wood or Jarred Cosart are still available.  2 guy's I prefer over Koehler at the moment.

Shane Greene coming back down to Earth
