this is a definite for me, been wanting chrome 8s. i actually like these over the aquas, not taking anything away from aquas though

Is it just me or does the strap buckle look "not so chrome" vs the OGs? In these pics it looks more like just metallic grey paint on the buckle at best. I'm hoping the finished product has the actual chrome buckles like their supposed to. Just my thoughts on it.

what I can see is they finally remastered the shape of the triangle shaped lace loop which is attaching the velcro strap
like in 1993.
All 8 retros since 2003 have been using the smooth surfaced, angled and narrower shape.
