Laney 14 dropping as a quickstrike Vol coming soon

i wanted these back then and i want them now, but i have to save.. already spent money on my daughters 1st birthday and my son's 7th birthday is next month and i am taking him on Disneyland.
Priorities definitely has changed. like everyone else has been saying, i'll wait till i see them on sale and then maybe i'll re consider.

The velour last shots (05) were just as good if not better than the OG.View media item 1735724
 
indiglos are straight but they aren't very high on my list. actually one of my least favorite 14s. I put many above them including oxidized green, and even some of the 2005 colorways such as white/chartreuse and dark cinder. last shots are my favorite

In the near future I hope more shoes don't sellout on RD, maybe then ppl will finally get use to shoes sitting. Instead of posting page after page of the shoes are sitting they flopped, the price to high no one copped.... It's not like Nike will stop releasing Jordan's just because a few shoes did not sellout day one. A few yrs a go some of us were pissed because it was a pain to get certain shoes, now Nike is making more to keep up with the demand. I rather see joints sitting and those who couldn't buy on RD will have a chance, when their funds are straight...

This.. Coped ps1s and low royals and I want unc next weekend so I can't cop unless I move something. Heck I'd prolly trade my near ds Ferrari for these

I couldn't agree more! I grew up with Js being available for months after release. It'll be nice to bring it back to near that!

guess the thread title is what is leading people to think differently

i can't say i'm shocked these are still sitting online. this isn't a very practical c/w and i don't recall them being very popular in '98.

i was able to cop at my usual spot. when these og released i hated them. but these are dope af. tried em on this morning at like 5am when i finally got home from the casino. FLAMES!

oh nah back in the day they hit sales racks lol

so did oxi green and indiglo's

i copped my indo for $100 on sale in VIM i remember lol


over the years its become a grail color for many

much like indi and oxi(which i want both lol)

I've always thought 'Quickstrikes' were limited quantity sneakers that were released out of no where, or maybe announced a week beforehand, not announced 8 months in advance.

I guess the definition has changed over the years if these really were a QS...

these were never a QS

rumor was it would be

but that was never the case

a true QS release your local store is getting like 30 pairs max(depends on your market) if even that many lol

like AF1 flax was a QS most stores had like 1 size run


as i said the thread title and people who didnt read all the replies from myself and others gave a false impression of this drop

it happens every so often

this shoe will sit for a while seems most stores barely sold through half of what they got

with the next few weeks kinda stacked UNc 1 then 3 peat 8 gucci foam wtc...

these prob will get over looked for a bit

normally that would be true

lack of full family sizing tends to point in the direction of QS

but the allocation per store was just way too high for that to be true

i mean lower end stores were getting like 70+ pairs in

in comparison

what the lebrons that recently dropped

those same stores with 70+ laney 14

got like 38 what the lebrons at most
