Race and color of skin really doesn't tell why people either love or hate Mayweather or Paquiao.

A lot of people both the hardcore boxing fans and casual people that are going to watch this fight don't like Mayweather because of his reputation & lifestyle.

People know that he beat up his ex wives & girlfriends, that he did it in front of his kids. Then they also know about how he's a big shot loud mouth flaymboyant guy and likes to be a flashy dude with his money & cars and other crap. It like seriously, that cool that you have all that money but it's just stupid how he feels the need to show it off to everyone in the world.

Paquiao on other hand people love him especially Filipino's in the Philippines and Filipino's here in the US and all over the world because the guy came from nothing & poverty and used boxing to make a better life for himself and now that he's sucessfull in boxing he's done a lot to help other people and give back to the poor.

Now the hate for Paquiao he gets from people is that a few years ago he lived that lifestyle also where he was a womanizer and had casinos & bars back in the Philippines.Then all of a sudden he became a born again christian and supposedly changed a lot and left that lifestyle behind.

A lot of people don't like that he's a congressman in the Philippines where the country is a poor third world country and the country's government is known for being corrupt. Then there's also the rumor's that he plans to run and eventually become president of the Philippines sometime in the future after he's retired from boxing.
