Air Jordan 7 "Nostalgia"

Pics on complex.Com via j23app look good. I still won't cop but they oight. Agree with above sock liner or tongue design would have been perfect on these

In friend owes me some money so i may just have him pick them up for me

Yet another lamebrain gimmick colorway Jordan Brand is trying to hawk on consumers. This color looks like vomit so I feel the same way about having a pair of these monstrosities. They had to mess up the classic VII line with this crap.

Waiting on these. If I cop these I would have copped every 7 this year. just missed the N7s and the cigar and champagne pack. Smh

N7 size 10 owners :nerd:

Idk.. At first I thought they were alright but they just aren't a must have. Something underwhelming about em.. Maybe it is the tongue or maybe it woulda worked better in black. I guess I'll have to see em in person to decide.

Lol I got those N7 and the leather ain't really all that I'd say you didn't miss much... I like them but don't love them.... Now the C&C pack had some good leather... You should be able to find the majority of these shoes for a good price if I were you I'd call nine for a stock check on these shoes as they have seen random restocks aT Niketown all year

Old man rant...

It's no secret I'm not a big fan of nicknaming shoes. I grew up usually just calling them by their color combos. Now I realize that today, with so many releases and so many themed-inspired kicks, nicknames are quite common. But when they're inaccurate or make no sense, it bugs the hell outta me! Why? I dunno...It just does. These are no exception.

Now, I'm thankful that the OP added "Nothing But Net" to the title. That nickname, although still corny, is still way better than what pratically every other shoe blog/site out there are dubbing these:  "Sweater VII's".

Don't get me wrong. I see the connection. Hell, I even used to own the shirt in whch these were inspired by. I remember watching Martin in the early 90's and seeing him wear the outfit! But, if you're gonna name it after an article of clothing, atleast make it accurate! The piece that MJ wore in Barcelona and in the McDonalds commercial with Larry Bird was nothing more than an all over print t-shirt...Not a sweater. It wasn't long sleeved, it wasn't lined withfleece, it didn't have a hood or a zipper...It was just a gaudy looking shirt from the early 90's! I guess calling them "Sweater VII's" sound better than "T-shirt VII's" but in today's world with nicknames being so forced and people so quick to want to label something, why couldn't someone just have taken the time to realize that sweater's are longsleeved.

Rant over...

I'm not A big fan of the HB era nicknaming every retro now releasing, even all these sites naming J's. But if your gonna tag A name on these

NBN sounds the best. I agree with iJapino NO SWEATER WAS EVER WORN FROM MJ. NOT IN THE McDONALDS COMMERCIAL OR IN

BARCELONA WHEN HE TOURED THE CITY.

I got A connect in CHI that has A pair of these from the grand opening store in CHI for sale sz DS w/receipt from JB STORE IN CHI $300 obo.

I plan to cop these. The early 90s were a good time for me and I remember the loud, crazy, clashing color fashions of that time with fondness. So like last week's "Three-Peat" 8s, these 7s speak to me, nostalgically.

Some might call them the sweater 7s because of how the print on the upper looks like a coogi sweater
