Bro you must've of not held this shoe in hand... Definitely the best leather on any 7 in years... These are only surpassed by the remastered 1's this year ....but due to the build style of the 7's and the level of support they require, I'd say the leather used is the perfect combination of softness and stiffness, to maintain a supportive fit. If they used the same leather as the remastered 1's the shoe would prolly be too soft... On another note the cyber Monday 1's look to have the same leather as the MTM's 7

you might be correct on the best leather on a 7 in years but that doesnt make them good and yeah 1s leather on any other model wouldnt be good but nothing jordan has come out with has been amazing to me except for the remastered 1s. All i know is retail for any jordan other than 1s is absurd especially considering the quality and i understand inflation but the quality didnt follow the price hikes or even stay the same but i digress

Having never copped a pair of 8s how do these fit compared to recent releases this year like the 7s for instance.

where did i say that i havent? of course i held them and have held other 7s that have recently released and none of them were good leather honestly but thanks for trying to ball bust for no reason

I get what your saying, but I think you may be focusing too much on the quality of the leather... Certain style of shoes require certain types of leather is what I was trying to allude to... Say for instant some leather hiking boots prolly wouldn't feel as supportive if it used the same supple leather used on SBB's... Same thing with the 8's they're made to be more supportive. If they used the same leather found on SBB's the shoe would prolly feel very flimsy... Just my thoughts tho.... Maybe you're right and the all good have a softer grade of leather and still work
