Ludacris Ludaversal Album Thread March 31

Release Therapy was the Intro, Tell It Like it is, War With God, Do Your Time, & Grew Up A Screw Up. Sounds like a lot, but the majority of the rest of the songs were mostly booty  I HATED Money Maker

I love Luda intros some pretty dope rhythms

My top 3 are
1. Word of Mouf
2. Chicken N Beer
3. Theatre of the Mind

Word of mouf intro = classic

I remember he came to the radio station and played damn near his whole album before it dropped. I had the tape deck recording  I was a huge Luda fan back then and dude used to KILL features

Damn I need to go back and get some of those old Lida albums. I literally stopped checking for dude when I got to college in 06

I mean thats when he fell off was right after red light district lol

Luda used to be the guy who would body a feature

Kendrick album drops before and Wale drops same day.

Don't think Luda should have chose the 31st

Nah, you good. Red Light District was okay but that was when the fall started. Only need the first 3 albums. After that, his features was the only thing worth hearing :smokin :smokin

I don't think Ludacris is expecting to sell that much. He makes his money from films now. Ludacris and Wale won't be selling at all. I'll download this first but I doubt I'll like it enough to buy.

He always kills his features even to this day. He had the best verse on the Double Cup joint too

The power was in his hair. Luda needs to re-invent himself, dude uses the same 2 flows on every song and his lines be so predictable.

I Do It For Hip Hop, Everybody Hates Chris, MVP, and Do The Right Thing were the big time joints from there for me. Southern Gangsta, Undisputed and Call Up The Homies were cool. I'll just say that album was the best you'd get out of Ludacris at that point, since he basically goes off the deep end on Battle of The Sexes

First half has my attention, second half has too many features and most likely radio cuts. Either way, I'll download it and check it out but I don't expect much.
