Racist Fraternity at the University of Oklahoma caught on tape.

Paliplaya is a god damn idiot for saying the first black students created a hostile environment. WOW! Tell us how you really feel about black people

Lol of course this will be taken of context... so ur telling me you have a bunch of racist white kids at school, then u bring in some black kids, theres not gonna be any tension?? really? thats not hostile? that act just created a hostile environment. how do u not see that? it was a monumental step in civil rights, and your gonna tell me its wrong for me to say it created a hostile environment? wow. continue to understand that how u wish and twist my meaning to villainize me...

bruh. i seriously dont get it. that obviously created a hostile environment. whoever doesnt think so is an idiot... there was hostility at the beginning of intergrating the kids. NEVER did i say that it shouldnt have been done... but that environment was hostile

quick question about ur views on this then. it may be a bit of a stretch but i wanna see what u think. i know a lot the other fraternities on that campus now feel unsafe due to the hostile environment caused by the on campus protests. fraternities and sororities completely unaffiliated with those other idiots have been attacked, their houses vandalized and all that stuff. should march leaders and speakers be held responsible for creating that hostile environment? i know its a stretch, but the point im trying to make is that even tho those kids words caused campus reaction and hostile environment for POC, the reactionary words and condemnation of white people has caused a hostile environment for them too. i know this is the worst point im making and everyone will turn the focus to this bc it can refuted and try to invalidate all of the other points i made, but so be it. i still dont think the school has the right to expel them. the first black students segregated into white schools arguably created a hostile environment too. the constitution doesnt protect feelings.

This is the image of white students reacting to a black girl joining their school in Arkansas. Please tell me who the @#$@ is being hostile. Don't try to flip your words and blame me, you DIRECTLY blamed black students for creating a hostile environment. It's not my fault you're racist or don't know how to write in proper English

dude i never said the black people were the one being hostile... never did i intend to say that or mean that in any way. i apologize if u understood it that way. what i meant, in general, those white girls yelling looks like a pretty hostile situation to me. that was the intended message. it caused by the intergration of black kids, but i meant even tho it was their action they were not at fault for creating the hostile env. but it was a hostile env

no no no... i said it was the ACTION of them being integrated into the school that created the hostile situation. they were not the ones to BLAME... clearly i said they created and not to blame, sorry u have trouble with reading comprehension.

I think you are just wording it wrong. Blame is just not the right way to describe it. Just say it how it is. I get what you are saying. The first person to do anything always has it harder then the later ones. Like I am sure gay people got it way worse back in the day but those are the people that paved the way for it to be less taboo as it is today.

thank u. again i apologize if u understood it that way, it wasnt my intention. overall it was just a bad example and i knew it. i wanted to kinda parallel that ou kids although very deserving of public outcry, the were not aiming to or intentionally create a hostile env. they were being racist punks behind closed doors and they have the right to do that still.

No need to apologize paliplaya2010 paliplaya2010 . You have the RIGHT to be a closet bigot.
Continue on my brother :smokin

Lol do you realize that my main goal in life is to practice medicine in underserved ghettos of dallas. im not gonna list all my contributions to the black community but i have done plenty of volunteer work for plenty of underserved areas where my target audience were POC or hispanic. but yes call me what u like sir, i will continue to serve my community without needing your approval.

btw i was raised in a very pro civil right family. my sister graduated from law school last year and has not earned a penny bc she is continually doing pro bono work for human rights. a couple case were for POC. but again continue to call me names when u have no idea who i am or my intentions

He said the act caused hostility.

YOU GUYS took that as "Wait, so you're saying black people were to blame. Bruh. Closet bigot."

Except he never said that.

Holster your weapons. Damn.

 so should the first black students who integrated have been expelled? Like what is your point

Can't believe my eyes w/ this foolishness

@DarthSka The same person is saying "it's not their fault that their stupidity went viral and created a hostile environment" when talking about clearly racist white kids singing happily about lynching black people. Who exactly is to blame then? The person who recorded the video should be blamed and punished? It's the media's fault that these kids are racist towards black students?

same like student athletes when they get media attention, it is not their fault that they are popular and media swarms them creating a disruption. just like these ou kids, its not their fault that their stupidity went viral. there are parallels there. disruption by media. who is at fault?

paliplaya2010 paliplaya2010 I didn't call you a bigot. I simply used the term while replying to your post :smokin
I'm working in the inner cities of Dallas as well to help prepare our young men for things just like what happened at OU.
Let's connect and see how we can assist one another.

so the point was even tho they created the hostile situation, it wasnt theyre fault and should not be held accountable for that hostile situation. i wanted to parallel to the ou kids, even tho they created the hostile environment (i agree it is well deserved) it was not their intention to create that disruption bc they were exercising their racist freedom of speech behind closed doors, and they have that right. therefore i still believe that is UNCONSTITUTIONAL to punish them even tho it is very morally wrong. Yes i know, it was a terrible example, apologies. but do u get the point? i am only speaking on the legality of the punishment and not the morality.

in my honest opinion no one should be punished bc of this thing known as the constitution. not sure if u have picked up that i dont agree with it morally, but from a legal perspective i do not believe they should be expelled. i stand by that. i never said its the media fault they racist. u are either a liar or have trouble with reading comprehension. i said the media is to blame for the disruption it caused. i was also pretty clear on that

Why make an example of you know it's terrible. No I don't get your point  like how are black students integrating into a school creating a hostile environment(for anyone other than themselves) ???
If anything they walking into the lions den.

Nah, you just have zero idea of how the constitution works. Promoting violence is AGAINST the 1st Amendment. Clearly you believe "you can hang them from a tree" is a non violent act, so keep on typing essays about how you're not a bigot though

So lemme get this straight duke really believes that because they didn't intend to get caught on camera, they shouldn't be punished?

Ok dude you're just in here for the sake of arguing with someone, anyone at this point.Your marshmallow is burnt and has fallen into the fire and there's no saving it.

they were being racist punks behind closed doors and they have the right to do that still.
Of course they do but they weren't behind closed doors they were at some type of gathering on a bus from what I gather and if that's the case whomever has the right to video record that gathering.I was in a public place and the people on that bus, adults, sounds like they were being festive and not private.

If It was a personal or private conversation of some sort I could understand your stance clearly it wasn't nor did they demonstrate that they didn't intend for it it to be personal or private, chanting in a elevated voice on a bus.

The fact is though that it did get out on video and because of that, it deserves a punishment. You are talking about a totally different story if it was said within the confinements of friends but that video is evidence and should be handled. Even at my job, we literally have job trainings to teach employees to keep outside business away from work. You can definitely get a job even though you are a racist but don't share that opinion to others or let that belief get out. I had one friend that sent another friend a comment on Facebook about their boss being a jerk and it somehow got out and that person was fired because of that comment.

Also those other "unsafe" frats and sororities will be fine and if they wanted to help themselves, stand by the other protests in saying they are hate free and don't believe in the same actions as the other frat. It doesn't take much to weather the situation.

Brah I definitely feel the guns a warranted

He is comparing blacks just attending classes (doing nothing else, just trying to attend classes), to dudes chanting about lynching blacks.

He is equating the irrational outrage of racist whites, to the rational outrage of current OU students

If the hostile school environment argument is being used, the you have to point to a specific action the students did to cause the hostility. What did the black students do? Be black? That's the act dude is pointing too.

Even without him placing any blame on them it is still a ridiculous comparisons to make. Do matter how you look at it
