Anyone watch this Scientology documentary last night?

I'm a big fan of the director's work.

Will check this out. Scientology church is fighting this film to the ends of the earth.

i found the fist 70 minutes boring, it didn't get good really until the last 35 minutes or so.

Said in the movie thread how bananas this was.

How dude started off as a sci-fi writer.

When they were explaining the handwritten story when u reached OT Level III

The abuse :smh:

Great watch

The only thing that was even remote believable for me was that a long time ago society had reached the same level of development we're at now...everything else was like ok **** bro

Great doc.

The reactions when they find out about Xenu were classic.

Tom Cruise customer ordering his yambs like a Chipotle buritto :smh:

The war against the IRS, the hole :x :smh:

Crazy what they did btw Cruise and Kidman and that Travolta seems to be trapped

Smh at the prison camp and the abuse they do

Hubbard was really insane

How can people be this stupid and follow this crap smh. I felt bad for former scientologist at first bc all the messed up things scientology did but after I they decided to stay after repeated abuse and obvious corruption its on them. Also

i had heard about what they did to nora from how i met your mother.

she was supposed to be tom cruises new g/f after they basically made her dude admit to an affair, they often use secrets you divulge in your sessions to blackmail or threaten you later on.

Jeez I cringed watching this. So Scientology is exactly what we thought it was, a bunch of looneys. I'm embarassed for Tom Cruise, they played into his ego and he fell right for it, even allowing his family to break up.

There's a "what the ****?" reaction moment from the interviewees, that you'll actually say too. It goes so off rails, and you'll never get that information until years and 100s of thousands of dollars later. By that time you're so deep in you feel like an idiot.
