Justin Bieber Roast

Eh. That joke wasn't funny to begin with. Jeff was reaching for shock value with that one.

My question is what could he possibly have been expecting coming to the roast in the first place?

Just from the previous roast he should know that nothing is off limits.

Keep it g, Martha Stewart's and the other chicks standup was coming at every black stereotype 300%, and they get mad over Paul Walker?

Ross joked about Shaq being dragged to the country as a slave... Cmon son. Need thicker skin if you're gonna put yourself in that spotlight.
At Franco's roast, someone called another the next Phil Hartman (SNL guy who was killed by his wife) and they left that in.

Yeah, Luda was really close with Paul and you can see throughout that he looked uneasy. I guess it was because Walker's death was pretty recent?

The fact it was just a little over a year ago was another reason. Way too soon.

Hartman died almost 20yrs ago. Even 9/11 jokes are OK nowadays...

part of me feels like the 9/11, slavery, Cobain, etc jokes are all inappropriate. but I also understand the roast is meant to be inappropriate so that's ok. the Paul Walker jokes, though, in front of someone who is likely still mourning, are too much.

Think that was a King Kong joke.. Pretty sure it was ross who made the "I know that was your favorite building to climb" joke

some were awkwarddddd (shaq, luda, and bieb's fave comedian) but no one was horrible. his serious moment at the end was pretty cool though except he looked like he was reading it. all I can imagine are his pr people planning this ahead of time to save his career/millions. but he does seem like a chill dude

This roast was great, from start to finish.

Besides ron.

lmao hold up, dude roasted the kid about his dad dying in 9/11? How folks just gloss over that for the Paul Walker joke?

He said "2 people from Soul Plane are here (Snoop and Kevin Hart) Soul Plane was the worst experience of my life involving a plane."

It was not.

Ross said something along the lines of, "Shaq was the first 2Chains" and something about being brought over here.

What you're talking about was when he was joking about Shaq no longer being able to climb the WTC.

I know the kid made it, but that's his own. I understand the wound still being fresh in Luda's case though, just saying there were more offensive things.

Yall have to remember, PW death is still somewhat recent plus the tapping of this was like a week and a half ago and FF7 comes out this week, so Luda has been doing lots of promo for the movie and emotions are probably still running high because of that. The incident is still fresh in his mind and I can definitely see the issue with it, the timing is just off. Luda was probably just answering questions regarding his relationship with PW and the death the day of or the day before the roast, nobody would want to hear that type of stuff that soon.

Martha had my eyes popping out my head. Everyone had some pretty "walk the line" jokes but Martha's was so gritty because I feel like she really talks like that in private. She was so calm and collected when she called Kevin Hart ***** rich :wow:  :wow:

Biebs bout to grow up looking like Mark-Paul Gosselaar

It was a King Kong joke. How are you even interpreting this from what they said

I have it downloaded son.

"Shaq was the original 2Chains because that's how he was brought into this country."

I'm still baffled Justin Bieber can literally do whatever he wants for years, with not a single damn given for human regard, and one apology that's perceived as genuine by the public wipes his full slate of mistakes and poor judgement clean.

Behavior aside, he makes decent music. No shame admitting that.
