Yeah.....we don't even try with pizza just cause it doesn't make sense for restaurant owners. For the most part since CA has a ton of suburbs, places like Round Table, Dominos and Pizza Hut still do well but even in SF, we only have like a couple of deep dish spots and some half legit spots in Little Italy section. The rest are mostly chains where they deliver. Ain't no one getting slices to go.

California Pizza Kitchen is trash and I'm from California. San Diego has some nice local pizza spots that I enjoy.
