Chappelle's Back!

I love Dave but he's not better than Richard Pryor. Live On The Sunset Strip is still the best stand-up I've seen.

Kevin gets way too much hate. He's not Eddie or Dave but Seriously Funny and Laugh at My Pain was funny as hell.

Yea comedy is subjective so people like what they like... But Kevin Hart gets way more hate than he deserves IMO... He has been funny in a lot of things... And his last couple stand ups have been funny too...

Happy to hear good things about Dave tho. That clip up there was funny... Been waiting for him to try to comeback. I think the special will be good.

Burress & Chappelle should do a TV show together.
 
I'm glad Dave is back

If The Chappelle Show were to come out today, do you guys think he would have got away with the same sketches? Seems like the media is super sensitive today so I feel like the PC Cops would have axed a lot of his sketches. 

Patrice is for sure in my top five. 

Kevin's movies are terrible, but his stand up is hilarious IMO and he's a genuinely funny guy. His radio interviews and TV appearances are funny. He came up with the Tough Crowd group (Patrice, Collin Quinn, Jim Norton, Bobby Kelly, Keith Robinson, Rich Voss,Bill Burr, etc.) so you know he had to be funny to survive those killers

Richard Pryor riding? Anyone and everyone in comedy who is worth a damn will tell you that Pryor is the greatest.
 
So glad to hear Dave is coming back. from what I hear he still is funny and I doubt this special will disappoint. I think he Kevin hart gets a lot of flack becuase he even the he is just ok he is everywhere for some reason. Pretty much dude doesnt have any competion at the moment except for hannibal buress. Hannibal has me rollin all the time and I cant wait to see him in person next month.

solid list. You so crazy is better than Daves Killing them softly, but KTS is better than run tell that. Those first 2 are pretty clear. Although...I may have to split the 3rd spot Dave and Rock and Martin. Rock has classics too. Bigger & Blacker was gold.


Jamie's standup was hilarious too.
 
Anyone else think Dave looks like Bokeem Woodbine now that he put on some weight?

Didn't care for the set I caught last year in Houston... 

Having said that, I'm looking forward to this... Heard he killed this screening  @sxsw.

dave was in san francisco a few weeks ago. he had a few shows in sf and oakland. he hung out at my job and had me play a few songs from kendricks new album over and over. just imagine dave screaming "oh yeah thats that hot isn right there bring that ish back" in a store full of people.
