I think the Chapelle show was funnier than Pryors show, but RP is da goat. He did on wax!

but kevin hart done sold out...he pretty much admitted it on the breakfast club...bout how he ain't risking his money to say anything important...
a lot of these black actors and comedians turn-coat and become huge uncle toms....
at a time when blacks need to stand up for blacks...these dudes selling out at the highest of levels for the money, fame, and acceptance of whites.

blacks should support and hail up chappelle for telling the industry f' you...and that he is doing it on his own terms...

Saw dude in Houston.
Had me rolling and I thought he was great. Grew up with him and got to see him live and check it off my life list. Was a +1 that he didn't even mention the Chappelle Show or any skits related to it.

i think people get let down thinking he'll do chapelle show type stuff on stage. I went and saw charlie murphy live thinking the same, but he just had stories and they were OK.

Saw him last week. Show was ruined for me cause I sat next to someone who had the most obnoxious laugh I've ever heard in my life. Dude was laughing before the punchline was even said. I spent more time focusing on him than Dave. Never been so disappointed at a comedy show.

I really don't get hecklers or people that go to comedy shows to ruin everyone else. It has to be some sort of narcissistic mentality or something. I saw Chappelle like 7 years ago and sat next to this Asian guy. The whole time, all he said was "Oh Dave" after every good joke and just ruined punchlines because of it. He didn't even get like a warning. They just allowed him to be a punk the whole time.
For the people that went to Dave's show recently, is he still smoking tons of cigarettes? I swear he smoked 7 cigs when I saw him.

I went to see Chappelle at Irving plaza when he was in NYC like a month ago. It was the funniest comedy thing I have ever been to. He had everyone laughing all of the 3 hours he was there.
They had fight club rules in there, so no pics/vids, no phones for anything. Few ppl got kicked out for taking their phones out

^^^Yeah, it's odd. It's like his one vice he wants when performing but it seems so taboo since no one smokes indoors now. It's just funny cause at the time I saw him, that was when he started working out and becoming healthy and he spoke about it on stage but cigs seem like he just ruins that whole thing.

Sooo Dave was in michigan the last few nights....I'm on the west coast so i didnt make it, but had a bunch of friends that hit it up. Everybody said it was terrible and he was cheeks. they said he kept saying 'i dont have no new jokes' and was smoking squares n ****. They said they show was late and he only did an hour. And then he kept clowning michigan..in michigan lmaooo.

Sounds like anybody else. If you don't feel like working that day you won't do your best. You got stories of him straight flowing for 3 hours and being **** for one.
