DISNEYLAND/DISNEYWORLD APPRECIATION!!! PUT IN UR ORDER FOR AN NT DISNEY SPIRIT JERSEY NOW!!!

I'm planning on going this October to attend the Halloween thing they do. Besides putting my son in a costume, is there anything special that happens during this time?

mickeys halloween party?

they allow adults to dress up too. some people go all out. you'll probably see some pretty awesome costumes. they have trick-or-treat lines at different locations through out the park where you can get candy.

lines for rides are typically shorter during the holloween parties. so you can hit up a lot of rides.

Had a great time at DL and DCA yesterday. Both parks were pretty empty. Most rides were 30 mins or under and enjoyed my last drop on Tower of Terror. Celebrated the 60th anniversary one last time.

I'll go back in November/December and I'm looking forward to seeing more than dirt at Star Wars land.

Walt Disney was a genius.

You got to go back to experience Halloween deco at Disney.

I believe Haunted Mansion and Ghost Galaxy opens around Sept 9 and Halloween should be in full effect by then.

Food looks great at Club33.

Thanks for the pics.

And are those pop rocks on top of the ice cream bar?

@MoNeyLiCiouS Rep'd. The reno at 33 looks nice. Haven't been in there since. Food looks excellent! How was it? And did you get any souvenirs?
I was told that it looks ALOT better than before also. We also got a tour of the bar and lounge area as well. It was pretty cool in there.

Food was pretty damn good. The cocktails were awesome as well. I did pick up a $30 old fashioned glass

My girl and i shared a vanilla ice cream bar dipped in dark chocolate with chocolate chips and my friend had the sorbet dipped in dark chocolate with pop rocks. I find that an odd combo but she always gets it.

 No worries fam.

Damn, need to experience Club 33 before I die. Food looks amazing.

Saw a lot more of those Disney social clubs than in the past. It was cool when it was rare but now it seems kinda corny. When you see so many people wearing patches.

club 33 looks awesome! thanks for posting pics!

yeah, those disney social clubs are everywhere now

What are these Disney social clubs/patches? They just get together to go to Disneyland or do they do some kind of charity work?

I think it's pretty lame. Lol. Disneyland is too damn expensive to be the Hells angels.
The biggest was Main Street elite. They're essentially punk/hardcore greaser kids with nothing better to do. They probably had 300plus members at one point. They would go to Disney to break rides down and abuse the handicapped lines. They would also start turf wars with other "gangs" until Disney finally stepped in and revoked passes and banned their vest/ logo.

The All-New ‘Frightfully Fun Parade’ Debuts During Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland Park

We have exciting news for everyone planning to attend Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland park! Beginning this year, all you “boos” and “ghouls” are invited to gather for chills and thrills when the all-new “Frightfully Fun Parade” takes to the streets, featuring a spectacle of spooky spirits from the deepest bayous of New Orleans to Halloweentown and beyond.

The Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow sets the mood as he arrives on his ghostly black steed just ahead of the parade itself, carrying a flickering jack-o-lantern as a warning to everyone along the parade route.

From “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas,” Jack Skellington the Pumpkin King brings greetings from Halloweentown, as residents arrive to celebrate their favorite time of year. Grim, grinning ghosts come out to socialize when Disney’s iconic Haunted Mansion attraction comes to “afterlife,” with swirling ballroom dancers, ominous gravediggers and a trio of hitchhiking ghosts. Inspired by Disney’s “The Princess and the Frog,” Dr. Facilier calls on mystical powers, summoning his Shadow Men from the bayou to loom large over his strange and twisted Voodoo parlor, and the mischievous Disney Villains appear out of the darkness, ready to stir up some trouble. A dark and dungeon-like lair takes over the parade route, bringing with it a wicked gathering of villainy from Hades and the Evil Queen to Jafar, Cruella and more!

The “Frightfully Fun Parade” will be presented exclusively during Mickey’s Halloween Party, a separately ticketed event at Disneyland park hosted over 17 nights from September 23 to October 31, 2016. Purchase your tickets early here and save!

Costco Sells $330 Annual Pass for Disney California Adventure

Costco is now selling annual passes for Disney California Adventure at $329.99 each.

The price also includes up to 10 percent discount on merchandise and food, and a collector pin.

It can be purchased at Costco stores in Southern California and online for a limited time and it has to be used before Dec. 1.

The “fun pass” only includes California Adventure and has about 60 blocked-out dates, compared to Disney’s dual park annual pass that has 180 blocked-out dates for the same price, The Orange County Register reported.

Disney sold separate annual passes for the two Anaheim parks when Disney California Adventure first opened in 2001, but later merged the two, the newspaper reported.

Costco also sells annual passes to Universal Studios Hollywood and individual tickets for Knott’s Soak City and Legoland.

California Adventure has recently revamped areas of the park.

The popular Twilight Zone Tower of Terror will close Jan. 2, 2017, Disney recently announced, but will return as a “Guardians of the Galaxy”-themed attraction.

Before then, fans will be treated to a “special celebration” of the ride during Halloween Time, as the Anaheim theme park looks to give it a proper send off. Guests will also be treated to a “Late Check-Out” from Sept. 9 through Halloween.

this better not happen :smh:

as suggested in the article, this is a better solution:

Why not instead reward annual passholders with a one-week free preview of new lands and rides like the upcoming Star Wars Land. This way you get them in and out of the new areas before they open to the general public, and everyone is happier for it.

there's also this for SoCal residents

DISNEYLAND SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ANNUAL PASSPORT RETURNS

After discontinuing new sales two years ago, Disney is again offering this once-popular yearly pass as part of its lineup of annual passholder options. The price: $459.

The pass is good for about 200 days at both theme parks. It’s not valid on Saturdays, holidays and some Sundays and summer days.

I'd love to live in SoCal for that annual pass. I'd take my daughter there on a tuesday lol

They should add free parking with that pass and it'll be a guaranteed purchase every year.
