Things to do in Houston, Texas vol are you all still tippin?

View media item 1491639 Hubcap grill >>>>>> absolute must if you come to Houston. Honorable mention to bernies burger bus as well
Alright this Hubcap Grill has been mentioned a lot in this thread. I've lived here all my life and never even heard of that place. Other burger joints I can think of is Tornado Burger in Mo-City and Guru Burger in Sugar Land

SN: Timmy Chan's is trash. Fight Me.

Burger joints, gotta hit up Stantons near Washington near the Courthouse. Joint is piff. There was a bar up near the Heights that also had a pretty damn good Bacon and Caramelized Pear Burger with gouda. I can't remember the name of it though.

On top of that, if you're a craft beer guy, Hay Merchant on Westheimer was on a list for the best Craft Beer bar in Texas. Their bar managers know their stuff and you can find stuff there you can't find anywhere else. Food is delicious too although a tad pricey. Petrol Station in the Heights is top notch too and Nobi Public House over in Clear Lake. Recent Expansion so it's not too packed on the Weekends plus 35+ taps and a pretty solid bottle list.

I would recommend parking in Downtown, hitting up a few bars and taking the light rail out to Midtown. Rail Ticket is 1.25 for 3 Hours and runs until 2AM on Friday and Saturday if I'm not mistaken.

hmm, never though about taking the light rail to midtown whenever im in Downtown. I may consider it because getting your car towed is not the business :smh:

By the way reason I said The Men'sClub for HH is they have $1.50 wells/beer until 9pm and free buffet. Like I said Thank Me Later
5th Amendment on Thurs night.
Proof in Midtown
I have a boy who is part of a crew opening up a dayclub next month in Midtown.

By the way, anybody been to Downtown lately? It's starting to boom again, those that were old enough to party when the Super Bowl was here in 2004, it's starting to look like that again.
Bars/Spots starting to pop off which I'm sure in anticipation when the Super Bowl is here in a couple of years.

Knowing how it is, it's cyclical, Downtown at it's peak was nuts. 2002-2006 you couldn't not go downtown to party.
Washington Corridor wasn't as poppin, Midtown wasn't as poppin so everybody brought they *** downtown.
Main St was dope, remembering every block a spot/club/bar --- Suede, The Vault, M bar, Opus, Grasshopper, Barcode, Spy, The Office, Toc - there's few more that I can't think of at the moment.
If none of you don't know any of that, then damn, I'm showing my age.

I remember. Haha.
What spots in downtown are nice to go to now?
Only place I've been To recently was alley kat for a waxaholics party.

Anybody ever go to boondocks?

Also, there's a cool bar called the grand prize on Montrose and banks st. They serve good barbecue and its a cool chill crowd. Kind of a hipster bar though. Real chill.

Christians tailgate is a good sports bar. Fat boys and twin peaks is dope too. I always end up pullin some random broad in fat boys without trying.

Born and raised in Houston, graduated HISD.

Houston has good food.

indmix.com has everything you need urban.

Washington Ave. is a wash now.

Midtown is where it's at, everything down there is free entry.

Westhiemer was my spot in the summer, I could always pull a drunk hipster chic drunk on Blue Ribbon. Biking around in tank tops, booty shorts and chucks without bra and panties. May or may not be shaved.

Boondoocks on Thursday night a few years back, i remember them playing old school hip hop...

I also went there before it was Boondocks, can't remember the name at the moment.

That whole Main Street area from back in the day right there on Congress, there's a few spots up and running now, the last two weekends been to Okra Charity Saloon, The Nightingale Room, and Heinke and Pilot.

Yeah, if you never been to Twin Peaks it's something to do and chill and mess with the servers, it's like Hooters on HGH.

Houston folks.. I'm in town for the weekend.. Any recommendations on where to watch the fight tomorrow?

Avant Gardens is live.

**** Dogwood, dude tried to tell me I had to take off my earrings to come in. Matter fact, **** every establishment on Washington Ave.
except Galway Hooker.

i know some Buffalo Wild Wings places are showing the fight, but its like a $25 cover charge plus 20% gratuity.
Appreciate the suggestion but I think BWW said it costs too much for them to offer it. There's only around 20 spots that will be showing it. I'm not sure if any of them are in the Houston area. Hooters will be showing it but I'd rather go some place else

You might as well just find a stream link.

Or if you paying for the PPV, split cost with your boys and buy food and drink cheap from HEB.

Just left the Galleria with my girl

Peripheral game was definitely on deck

I always hear about people getting messed with on Washington Ave over tedious stuff, but never actually experienced that myself. One of my best friend's brother though wasn't allowed in that club Eight's (?) cause he was wearing tennis shoes. He was pissed cause it was his bros bday, but that's one of the main rules beforehand.
