He'll get a max deal and well deserved, but it'll be interesting to see if they aren't able to get a replacement for Duncan (LMA) how they're able to build a team around him with Kawhi being the focal point.
 
A max contract isn't a flat rate number of like 25Ms a year people. Kawhi is getting the max he deserves.


This was his first year being the focal point of the offense it'll get better with time.

fact is that the spurs from this season are less good than previous season.

A certain now banned member stated before the playoffs that the spurs would win back to back championships and that leonard wpuld be back to back finals mvp. He also stated leonard was top 3 in the nba today and pissibly the greatest small forward of all time.

Well once the spurs were eliminated he blamed it all on leonard amd called him second tier player and not worthy of a max contract

chris paul impressed me this series. this game especially. dude showed up and took the game by force. even his flops were calculated. hell of a performance.

Freeze woulda definitely given TP buckets this series. Shoulda played Patty more SMH. I'm sure Doc'lol be looking for a backup PG

TP definitely stood for toilet paper this series. Bruh I would've had a new career high every night. They would've had to put Kawhi on me from day 1. Tony would be food.


Can't believe Patty was played to the left like that. Like literally every time he got in, there was instant offense. He balled in the finals last summer too. He earned it.
 
Kiwi is the goods.

His performance in the Finals against Lebby is proof of that. He just had an uneven series against LAC.

yep agreed. and not just the finals, he bodied bron earlier this season too.

he was in his own head this series. He had to guard everybody for the majority of the games and be an offensive threat.

Should they be out because they deserve it and played a tough year or should they be at home staring at the wall like I'm doing. Or maybe I care too much and they realize that its just basketball cause I decided not go out tonight because of this loss. IDK but if theres someone on the roster who deserves to be out there wylin on the streets its Patty.
 
Kawaii still needs a go to move, he ACTUALLY needs to learn how to go 1 on 1 more. thays his challenge as the core changes

and so far demarre carrol was not mentioned in the posts i read.
maybe because i mainly follow the bulls and cavs.

the spurs are still a good team but clearly not in the same shape compared to 2014.
I knew they could still trouble the young talented teams but they are simply not fresh anymore.
Even if you compare the 1998 bulls with the 1996 bulls you could tell that they less dominant. multiple key players getting older (mid 30s) and it is more difficult to motivate a team to win back to back or even 3peat championships.

what you got correct from my post is that we cannot blame lenard for losing this playoff series Nor could we blame lebron in last year's finals.
Players like rajon rondo however makes me sick by intentionally underperforming in the playoffs.

When I was younger I used to get upset when I would see them at the club partying after a loss. It put the game in perspective for me and I stopped caring as much. Of course I want them to win but if they lose I'm cool either way.

Only on NT can the hate be so strong as to suggest that the current DPOY is nothing more than a system player.

Theres like 40 guys out there getting Max salaries.  Kawhi is a top 20 player.

I'm guessing Doc doesn't realize that that series was pretty clean because the Spurs don't play with any animosity towards anyone, and are an overall quiet and timid team. There's no reason to hate them. Rockets and Clippers players hate each other, and there will be multiple techs and flagrants everywhere in that series :lol:
