What has made Stat successful is ability to run the pic and roll. More specifically he's able to set good pics that open up the floor for Wade and now Dragic. It gives them space to operate. Setting good picks is a really over looked skill set for big men.

One of Hassan's drawbacks is his inability to set strong pics. This is why Dragic and Wade have a hard time getting into the lane when Hassan is out there. I really hope he gets better at the pic and roll game.

On another note.... One thing no one is talking about is how Spo made an adjustment to help the offense execute better. He's encouraged the team to pick up the pace so the team could get into their sets quicker. We've seen some flashes of some great offensive possessions these last few games. Now the team is on a 3 game winning streak when they were dead in the water a few games ago. Hopefully the team can continue to grow, get healthier, and beat the Hawks tomorrow.

P.S. Congrats to Bosh and Wade on their all-star selection . Bosh's been so underrated this season.

Yea, that's been going around. But everyone makes adjustments. Even bad coaches make adjustments. The difference between good coaches and coaches who get fired is getting players to actually buy in and execute. It seems the Heat players are actually listening and executing the game plan. It's not gonna always look pretty and work out, but as long as the team shows progress I'm good.

BTW... Its almost game time. I'm really interested to see how they look against another quality opponent.... Can they actually win 4 games in a row for the first time this season?? :lol:
 
Spo finding a better role for Winslow on offense has helped, just need to figure out G.Green on the bench mob. He's so bad right now, I rather Beno at back-up point and Tj at the 2 instead of Green
 
I didn't like how the Heat finished the 2nd quarter. They looked sloppy and committed a lot of turnovers. Hopefully they play well in the 2nd half. They have a bad habit of coming out sluggish in the 2nd half and then have to come back and win in the 4th.
