OFFICIAL 2016 @HEAT PLAYOFF THREAD

Aldridge is a great player, he's just not worth gutting the team... it's not happening anyway guys lol

The Miami Heat have also joined the pursuit of Aldridge, according to Wojnarowski. Stein reported Aldridge had dinner with Pat Riley Thursday, while Brian Windhorst of ESPN noted Riley's message was believed to be "wherever you sign, go short and I'll be back next summer.

Whiteside's 123 blocks in the 48 games  he played last season. Deandre in comparison had 183 blocks in 82 games averaging over 10 more minutes a game than Whiteside

and lobs

I wouldn't mind Booz off the bench for the right price.

Authentic Riles

Interested to see what kind of vets we bring in to round out the rest of the roster. Ready for the season, though :smokin

I don't think the LMA meeting was all about signing him for this upcoming season. It was more about staying aggressive and never being caught unprepared.

Y'all remember last season when LeBron left and the Heat had to scramble after all the other big pieces went to other teams? This meeting is more or less a goodwill mission. Go to meet the players, see where their head is at, and at the end of day you create a positive relationship with one of the league's stars. A win-win.

The Heat win even if the player goes to another team... Who knows what the future holds. I love how they are staying aggressive and being proactive.

^Good looks. I'll try him out.

I wish the Orlando Summer League was open to the public. Oh well, I'll be up at 9.

Count me on the 'dont want' Aldridge wagon, I'm good on that.

He's almost the same exact player as Bosh, as Lebatard was saying. Why gut the team when depth is already an issue with this team?!

I, also like the Boozer acquisition. I feel there still needs to be one more addition to the bench.

I hope McBob can show out this year, he's the X-factor imo...

Edit: That Wade video was executed perfectly, just captures his value to the team & city

Winslow's doing okay, Zoki and Johnson out there fighting for their position

J-Rich and Ennis a little shakey

I think the roster looks good so far. Henry Walker could be a sleeper. He has size for a shooter and could benefit greatly from playing with the talent in the starting 5. I agree Mcbob as the X factor, getting good production out of his contract is a must.

It's going to come down to health with this team. When healthy they are ECF contenders.

I like what I see from Winslow in the SL. He may seem a bit passive but he's not an alpha dog scorer which is why he will be a good fit with the main roster. His offense is well developed and he seems poised.

Side note miles turner has a nice outside game for a big.

I'm sorry but walker is terrible.

Haha but what other spot up shooters do we have? All I'm saying is that he could be a role player coming off the bench to keep the starters fresh, 10-15 minutes a game and knock down spot up 3's. Hopefully Riley picks up another 3&d wing because I think they are good at point and with the bigs...
