powered lacing is simply a dumb idea in general. like others have mentioned the tmac 4 failed and also the reebok answer 9 comes to mind. pretty sure that auto pump BS was a 1 and done thing. the 10 may have also used it (honestly can't remember and too lazy to look it up) but it obviously never stuck past 1 or 2 tries. point is, you simply can't replace manual. I'm sure we will see powered lacing at least once but I guarantee it will never stick. Any and all powered lacing talk is simply part of nike's scheme to keep people interested in shoes.
