The only interest of the public is how to teach the police to remember the law verbatim. Philly police I believe you don't need to have a degree. Not sure if that's the case for every city but let's change that.

Generalizing, I know, but I've lost all respect for police.

If you're pressing for witnesses to put scum away on a daily basis yet turn a blind eye to the scum you work with, you're scum.
 
I want to have excitement that the 6 police officers are being convicted of their crimes. But I know and some of you know this will be the process where victim freddie grey will have his name dragged in the dirt even more. The officers will be praised as saints who followed protocol and did everything they could. Read somewhere that even the driver is being prosecuted as well (he's black), maybe he will be the pawn that the officers attorneys will set up to take the blame. We've all been here before, anything can happen.

The justice system is all about what you can PROVE...

Could he have been beaten severly and have had his spine damaged before being loaded into the truck... yes.

Can you prove beyond a reasonable doubt that his spine was damaged before being loaded into the truck... no.

Could he have had his spine damage due to being hogtied and left on the floor unrestrained while the officer drove the truck... yes

Can you prove beyond a reasonable doubt that his spine was damage by being hogtied and left on the floor unrestrained.... yes.

The DA is supposed to go after the case that can be won... what else can you ask for?
